Lumine stood at the entrance to Wangshu Inn, her heart pounding with excitement. She had teleported to Liyue, eager to meet with Xiao.
She made her way up the winding staircase, her footsteps echoing in the quiet hallway. Finally, she reached the top floor and pushed open the door to the balcony.
There, standing at the edge of the balcony, was Xiao. He was looking out at the city, his expression contemplative.
Lumine approached him quietly, not wanting to startle him. She stood beside him, her eyes taking in the breathtaking view.
"You're here," Xiao said, his voice barely a whisper.
Lumine smiled. "I am," she replied. "I hope I'm not too late."
Xiao shook his head. "You're right on time," he said.
They stood there for a long moment, simply enjoying the view. The city was bathed in the soft glow of the setting sun, casting long shadows across the landscape.
Finally, Xiao turned to face Lumine. "I've been waiting for you," he said.
Lumine smiled. "I'm glad I made it," she replied.
They spent the next few hours talking, catching up on old times. Xiao told Lumine about the recent attacks by the Abyss Order, and Lumine told him about her adventures in Mondstadt.
As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the city, Lumine and Xiao stood together, watching the night fall.
"Thank you for meeting me," Lumine said. "I'm glad I could see you again."
Xiao smiled. "I'm glad too," he replied. "It's been too long."
As they stood there, watching the night fall over Liyue, Lumine couldn't help but feel a sense of peace. She was surrounded by friends, and she knew that everything would be alright.
As the night fell, casting a veil of darkness over Liyue City, Lumine and Xiao stood on the balcony of Wangshu Inn, their eyes fixed on the distant horizon.
"Why did you ask me to come?" Lumine finally asked, breaking the silence.
Xiao turned to face her, his expression serious. "I have information about the Abyss Order," he replied. "And about the Fatui's recent skirmishes."
Lumine's eyes widened. "What kind of information?" she asked.
Xiao took a deep breath. "The Abyss Order has been moving closer to civilization," he said. "The Adepti and the Millelith have been able to clear them out, but they keep coming back."
Lumine nodded. "That's concerning," she replied.
"It is," Xiao said. "And it's not just the Abyss Order. The Fatui have been snooping around Liyue Harbor and other nations in Teyvat as well."
Lumine's heart sank. She knew that the Fatui were a dangerous organization. They were ruthless and powerful, and they would stop at nothing to achieve their goals.
"What are they up to?" she asked.
Xiao shook his head. "I don't know," he replied. "But I think it's connected to the Abyss Order."
Lumine nodded. "That makes sense," she said. "The Fatui are always looking for powerful artifacts. And the Abyss Order has a lot of those."
Xiao agreed. "I think the Fatui are trying to use the Abyss Order to their own ends," he said.
Lumine's eyes narrowed. "We need to stop them," she said.
Xiao nodded. "We do," he replied. "We need to unite the people of Teyvat against the common enemy."
