Lumine's eyes brightened at the thought of a real bed. "That sounds amazing, Childe. I could really use a good night's rest."Childe stood up from his chair and stretched his arms above his head. "Great! Let's pack up our things and head back to Liyue. We can spend the night there and then make our way back to Inazuma the next day. You mentioned that you have a friend you wanted me to meet, right? Thoma, was it?"
Lumine smiled and nodded. "Yes, Thoma. He's a close friend of mine, and I think you two would get along well. But you're right, it would probably be best to get some sleep in a real bed for a change. We can tackle Inazuma with refreshed minds and bodies."
They quickly gathered their belongings and made their way to the teleportation point. Childe activated the mechanism, and in an instant, they found themselves standing in Childe's chamber in Liyue. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and elegant decorations. A large, plush bed was situated against one wall, inviting them to sink into its soft embrace.
Lumine flopped onto the bed, feeling its luxuriousness beneath her. "This is heaven," she murmured, closing her eyes. "I could get used to this."
Childe chuckled and sat down on the edge of the bed, watching Lumine with amusement. "I'm glad you like it. After all the battles we've been through, we deserve a little luxury."
Lumine opened her eyes and sat up, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "You know, Childe, I never imagined that the mighty Tartaglia would be so concerned about getting a good night's sleep."
Childe smirked and leaned closer to her. "Well, even mighty warriors need their beauty rest, Lumine. And besides, a tired warrior is a vulnerable one. We need to be at our best when we face whatever challenges await us in Inazuma."
Lumine laughed and playfully shoved Childe's shoulder. "You always have an answer for everything, don't you?"
Childe grinned and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "That's what I'm here for, Lumine. To protect you and make sure you're well-rested. Now, let's get some sleep. Tomorrow, we have a friend to meet and a new adventure to embark on."
The moonlit city of Liyue was bustling with activity as Lumine made her way back to the Northland Bank. She had spent the entire day exploring the various shops and attractions, and now she was ready to retire for the night. As she entered the bank, she could hear the sound of Childe's voice coming from his chamber.Lumine walked down the hallway towards Childe's room, her footsteps echoing softly against the marble floors. She pushed open the door and found Childe meticulously fixing the bed, adjusting the pillows and smoothing out the sheets. He looked up when he heard her enter, a warm smile gracing his lips.
"Hey, Lumine," Childe greeted, his voice filled with warmth. "I hope you had a great day exploring Liyue."
Lumine nodded, a tired but content smile on her face. "Yes, it was quite an adventure. Liyue is such a beautiful city."
Childe chuckled and gestured towards the bed. "Well, I thought you might appreciate a comfortable place to rest. I fixed the bed for you."
Lumine's eyes widened in surprise. She hadn't expected Childe to go out of his way to make her feel comfortable. "Thank you, Childe. That's very kind of you."
Childe shrugged, his eyes filled with sincerity. "It's the least I could do. You've been through so much, and I want you to feel at ease here."
Lumine felt a warmth spread through her chest at his words. Childe had always been considerate, but this act of kindness touched her heart in a different way. She couldn't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude towards him.
