Chapter 9

Addie couldn't help but imagine what Tyler had done to Ember. Immediately after work, she rushed home and sent Tyler a voicemail.

" You f**king mûrdërēr! How dare you?! Why the h€ll did you kill her? She did nothing to you?! Get your f**king a§§ at my place this instant!". She shouted at the phone and sent the message to him.

In less than five minutes, he was standing in front of her.

She charged at him and hit his chest hard but he just stood there unmoved while she hit him hard.

" Why did you kill her?!. She did nothing wrong. She just yelled at me and all of that wasn't a big deal yet you killed her! Why did you!...."

She was cut short when Tyler held her both wrist.

" Enough of the tickling". He said.

" What are you doing?!". She shouted as he locked it.

" Stopping you from massaging me. I might just end up doing something unhøly you know". He said with a smirk as he roughly tied her to a chair.

" You're sick!". Addie shouted and he smirked.

" I'm not sick, babe. I'm obsessed ". He said and she gasped.

" What?!". She asked with confusion.

" I can't let anyone get close to you else they'll end up like Ember and Hale!". He shouted and Addie's head started spinning.

" Why is this happening to me?". She asked herself.

She couldn't believe that a mafia is obsessed with her. What did she have that made him so obsessed.

" You're messing with my head, Addie". He said in the calmest voice ever and traced her chin with his fingers but she just shoved his hand away.

" What did you do to me, Addie? 'Cause I don't think I'm ever getting over you,". He added.

" What do you want from me?". She asked but he smiled.

" Your body, your submission. Just be submissive to me". He said but she just scoffed.

" I'd never do that". She spat and he smirked, holding her neck with his hard fists.

" What is wrong with you?". She choked and he roughly kissed her like he did in his car.

He kissed her roughly and she couldn't pull him away. She didn't even know why his kiss got her melted and she forgot everything when he did that.

She knew he kissed her roughly but  her mind seemed to go blank when he kissed her.

Before he could pull away, she bit his hard on his lower lip and he licked it off.

" F**k you". She cursed and he grinned wide.

" Your wish is my command". He said and lifted her up, taking her to her room.

Addie woke up the next day and noticed that Tyler was gone.

She quickly dressed up and went to work. She was going to get her month's salary and she would quickly resign and take her mum out of the country.

After working for the day and getting her salary, she was about to knock when she heard two voices from the office.

" So she's his girl?". She heard a man say.

" Yeah. I saw the tattoo ". Silas said and it dawned on her that they were talking about her.

" He already made her his? Tyler had never done that to any woman before, even Vanessa. She must really mean something to him". The man said and she scoffed.

" As if.... he's just obsessed". She said to herself as she listened more.

" What do you think?". Silas asked

" Let's kill the girl. That happens to be his weak spot for the main time". The man suggested and Addie gasped.

" If we kill her, it'll only make things worse. She isn't our target, he is. We are mafias, we can't add unnecessary people into our game". Silas said and she shook in horror.

" So what do you suggest?". The man asked.

" We keep the girl hostage and threaten him with her. It'll lure him into our trap". Silas said.

" You know Tyler isn't a kind of mafia to be joked with. This would only endanger our lives". The man said.

" I need to gain access into his safe. That safe is important and it's not worth being with him". Silas said.

" So do you have any other better idea than killing the girl and ending our lives?". He asked and the man remained silent.

" Then we'll capture her tonight. 8pm sharp. And maybe I can get to have a taste of what he's enjoying". Silas ordered.

'He wants to kidnap me. What the heck did I get myself into?'. She thought as her hands shook violently.

She couldn't give him the resignation letter. It'll just increase his suspicions. She had to get away from there as fast as she could.

Addison quickly took her bag and hurried out of the company.

As she was about to leave the company, her colleague stopped her.

" Where are you off to?". The lady asked.

" I...uh....it's....it's an emergency". She said and left before the lady could ask her any more questions.

She ran as fast as she could and quickly called the doctor.

" I'll be at the hospital right away". She said as she ran to the hospital.

She was sweating and looking scattered as she dashed towards the doctor's office.

" Doctor, please I need to get my mum outta here". She said and the doctor stared at her in awe.

" What do you mean?". The doctor asked.

" What I mean is, my mum needs to leave the hospital". She replied trying as much as possible to be patient with him.

" You can't take your mum because she hasn't taken full treatment and besides, you haven't completed your payment".

" Look, I don't know how else to explain this to you but this is a matter of life and death". She said and the doctor just sighed.

" Look, I can't let you take her out of here ". The doctor said and walked away.

Addie left the hospital as she panicked.

" What do I do?". She asked herself and she quickly placed a call on Tyler as she ran as fast as she could to get home which sure was a long journey.

As soon as he picked, she quickly shouted.

" Tyler, look you need to come get me. He's going to take me and I don't know where. They're coming after........" But before she could complete her statement, she felt electricity rush through her before falling to the ground, unconscious.

" Sweet dreams, Addison". Silas said.
