October, day night from 8th to 9th

For Charlie's luck, the nurse appeared in his ward shortly before his parents arrived. She gave him a powerful sleeping injection, and the guy very quickly passed out. He managed to hear a few indistinct phrases from his parents, they sounded quite calm. However, if they had started yelling at him, he wouldn't have cared at all. Charlie fell asleep and woke up only in the morning when his parents were no longer around. Only paper bags and a note 'get well soon, little raccoon' were on the bedside table. Inside were containers with food from a restaurant. Judging by their quantity, almost the entire menu was brought here. And judging by the fact that his parents would never call him 'raccoon', his new friends brought him the food.

Having waited for the morning examination by the doctor to end, Charlie took out his hidden phone and opened the messages. Immediately ignoring the messages from his parents, he opened the chat with Evan. The last messages made his skin burn and his heart happily soar in his chest. Evan wished him good night and good morning... he didn't forget, he thought about him when he woke up. It was priceless. Charlie thought hard about the answer, but couldn't come up with anything original.

Morning, my knight. It's nice to know that you missed me. Resisting morphine injections was extremely difficult, but I broke free...

In fact, Charlie didn't know exactly what they injected him with yesterday. He only remembered that his mind almost immediately calmed down and fatigue set in. Surprisingly pleasant. While Evan was replying to the message, Charlie was brought food. But its quality was so depressing that he didn't even dare to try it, and immediately went into the bags and fished out a thermo-container with broth. It was still warm and really tasty.

The best escape from annoying parents. How are you? Are you feeling better?

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄
Much better. I might even look not like a bastard. And my folks probably left as soon as they saw that I fell asleep.

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄
Thank fucking god. Their bullshit would have destroyed me. Been crazy night, huh?

𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐍
And unforgettable!

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄
And how about you? How did it all end?

𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐍
We returned back to the city at one in the morning. When everything was cleaned up and everyone went home, it was already two.

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄
Did you have any problems with your parents?

𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐍
I never have problems with them. Almost. Oh, wait please, I have a client.

Evan went offline, and Charlie, continuing to eat the broth, opened the messages from Casey. There was an ironic wish for recovery and a set of drunk possum stickers. Charlie chuckled, but still wrote to Casey. She replied surprisingly quickly on a Sunday morning after the party.

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄
Didn't manage to poison me at the party, decided to finish what you started with food from your family restaurant?

𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐘

And good morning to you too, Wright. You're texting, so you must be healthy already. My prayers were not in vain.

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐄
Thank you. It's delicious. I feel like a human again.

𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐘
The least I can do after such fail at the party. The food, by the way, was provided by my mom.
