Dear Ced,
It's been 127 days since I last saw your face, though it feels like only yesterday. I remember you finding me under the old oak tree by the lake, proudly decked out in our Hufflepuff uniform, with that familiar, goofy smile. You were so full of life, brimming with excitement for the final task of the Triwizard Tournament. You came to drag me along so I could watch you win. But you didn't.
If I'd known that would be the last time I'd see you, I'd have done anything.. I mean anything.. to stop time and keep you safe. If only I'd known... maybe you'd still be here, making me laugh with your daft jokes.
I miss you, Cedric, more than I can ever express. More than anything else in the world.
Things have been difficult since you were... since you left. The weight of pretending to be alright and managing everything on my own feels overwhelming at times. It's as if your absence has made every challenge seem insurmountable. I often find myself wishing you were here to lighten the load, to make things feel a little less daunting. You always had a way of making me believe that everything would turn out alright. I could really use that now.
