I realized I might have miscalculated their age, and technically none of them should have a driver's license. So yeah, my bad. It's not relevant to the plot so please ignore it.

By the evening boys have been in every interesting place in this town. Sadly for Toritsuka, he had to be in the temple by seven. When he realized that, it was already to late, so he only quickly said goodbye to everyone and rushed at full tilt.

What a pain, hopefully we won't have to see him again.

Saiki didn't mind being left behind, while Nendou, Kaidou and Kuboyasu were zealously talking about everything they've seen. He had time to think about a lot of things, but one thought was extremely bothering him.

Why was this day kind of nice?

He couldn't get it. The town was really loud, so were his friends. He had no opportunity to visit any cafe, and on top of that he had to deal with Toritsuka, which was a big problem itself. Truly a miserable day. How could he possibly enjoy it? The biggest problem wasn't even that it happened, but that he had no idea why.

I'm probably just making stuff. Days like this are unenjoyable.

He sighed giving up on trying to understand the situation. He quicken slightly and now tried to focus on the conversation.

"Yeah, this place is great, but I felt something you guys didn't" as Kaidou said that, he covered his face with his palm "I feel presence of creatures from hell... demons are all around this place"

Kuboyasu looked truly intrigued. He nodded to every word Kaidou said. What he actually felt about this was a little bit different though.

I don't understand a single thing he says, but I'll pretend as long as it makes him happy.

"Really?" He asked with an expression of a fascinated person "Can you tell us more?"

"We'll be safe as long as we leave when it'll get dark. Demons always attack when there's no sunlight. I've read a lot about this topic"

Where did you read it Kaidou? In mangas? I'm starting to assume you're just scared of the dark.

Saiki's assumptions weren't that far from reality. Kaidou didn't want to stay at night but not because he was scared of darkness (after all there were lights everywhere) but because he was afraid of getting robbed.

Normally he wouldn't even think of it, but the amount of poor people on streets he saw today made him anxious about it.

"Well then, let's go. I'm exhausted anyways" he wasn't, but he knew it'll make his best friend feel better about leaving early.

Without anyone complaining, they went back to the village. By the time they arrived to the motel, it was completely dark outside. Most of the village residents were asleep, or just staying in their homes.

"Maybe they also know how dangerous it is to be outside after sunset" Kaidou suggested while rubbing his right hand "But you don't have to worry! I'm the Jet Black Wings after all. My powers can not only defeat Dark Reunion, but any kind of evil powers!"

Good grief these people are old farts! They wake up at five and go to bet at six in the evening. Anything these people have to be protected from are your delusions.

"We're so lucky to have you around!" Kuboyasu put his arm over Kaidou's shoulder and pulled him closer. Shun blushed a little, as he couldn't remember the last time anyone have said something like this to him. For the amount of times he tried to impress his friends and only received twitting, it was really nice and new to hear someone appreciate him.
