Saiki couldn't sleep well that night, constantly worrying about potential danger. He made it through the night and in the morning he tried his best to hide his tiredness.
"God, Saiki! You look like a ghost!" Kaidou announced while stretching on a chair. Saiki decided to not take part in this conversation.
"So sad we're leaving today" Kuboyasu murmured hiding his face behind a mug of coffee. It was really early in the morning, and none of them were ready to start a day. Nendou tried to not fall asleep on a table, even though he slept the longest that night "It's a lovely place"
'I wouldn't mind staying here for the whole summer' Kusuo looked to his left 'But I suppose it's not really my choice'
Kaidou hid his red cheeks with his hands. He thought everyone wanted to visit many places in Japan. That's why they agreed to go. He didn't want to feel guilty for making his friends upset.
"There are more villages like this one, guys! I promise we'll stop by one!" he honed annoyed by his friends' complains.
He felt even more miserable knowing that the next place he planned to stop by was a polar opposite of where they were staying now.
They sat in silence, with the only sounds being slurping coffee and tea. That day the birds were singing really loud, it almost sounded like shouting.
"Is somebody torturing those innocent creatures?" Nendou moaned irritated by the fact that something was interrupting his time to relax and take a morning nap "I want ramen too"
As he said it, he stood up and went inside, straight to his room. Few minutes after, all of the boys decided it'll be the best to start getting ready.
Kaidou rushed to close in the bathroom. Aren decided to use that time to pack all of his stuff. Half an hour passed by and he was almost ready to leave, while his best friend was still locked in the bathroom, doing a lot of unnecessary skincare steps.
Kuboyasu knocked on the door, but only received an annoyed spit, so he decided to say something.
"I don't care if you're taking a bath right now, I just want to brush my goddamn teeth! I'm coming!"
He opened the door and sighed in relief to see his best friend fully clothed just leaning over the sink, washing his face.
"I'm no dermatologist, but with this many products you use on your face, you're gonna look fourty in your twenties" he joked while soaking his toothbrush under warm stream of water.
Shun obviously wasn't able to speak, but half a minute later he dried his face and looked at Aren murderously.
"Firstly, you really have no idea how it works, second of all, even if you're right, at least my skin is flawless during years of my youth, when it should be"
Kuboyasu looked back at Kaidou's reflection in the mirror with a smirk, but didn't say anything.
You're literally flawless no matter what. I wish could tell you that. I don't want you to ever feel insecure about yourself. But I can't say any of those things. One day, maybe, but not now.
He forced every muscle on his face to keep a straight expression, while those thoughts crossed his mind. In response to Kaidou's words, he shook his head, then he went back to brushing his teeth.
"At least I shower every day" Shun joked when he was about to leave the bathroom. Aren was so stunned he spat out all of the tooth paste.
"What did you just say?" He asked slowly turning his head and straightening up "You're trying to tell me I smell? Is that what you think?"
