The creaking noise of the ceiling fan, the tremor of continuous leg shaking and the on-off sound of pen click. This was all heard in the exam room where only Gracy was left to submit her answer sheet in which she was just scrambling everything in last moment..

The examiner glares were like salt to her wounded situation. At the last question she lost her mind and submitted it without looking back.

With a sigh of relief she said to herself.

"Whatever happened atleast it's over"

Gracy ended her mid-sem today by giving the worst exam ever, she was even awake all night for this shitty result.

But atleast it's over mentality consoled her. She was in a rush to go home and sleep all day but then saw Suzie holding iced coffee waiting for her in the hallway.. 

A smile formed in her tired face as she went towards her..

“Yo how was your exam? It took you long.” Suzie said as she passed coffee to her..

“I don't know but I guess I'm pass.”

Gracy nervously smiled remembering her answers..

“Don't worry passing marks are enough!”

She said joyfully keeping the positive energy as she knew how hard it was for her also.

Gracy nodded and they both started walking out when Suzie's eyes caught boys playing basketball in the court. She went close to there with Gracy following confused..

“What happened?” Gracy asked.

“You know sports compitition is next month and I love playing basketball.” Suzie sadly said wanting to participate too.

Her suddenly showing interest in something brought light in Gracy's eyes. She was unknowingly excited for her but before she could express it with words someone came in between.

“You can participate why didn't you tell me?”

It was Sam coming in between being all sweaty from playing. He looked more hot in the jersey and suddenly the atmosphere become awkward. Sam was eyeing Suzie with those eyes while she was just standing there nervously.

“Can I?” Suzie asked doubtly..

“Yes many girls are participating too. Do you wanna join my team?”

Sam asked stepping close trying to take a better look of her blushed face. Suzie was barely keeping the conversation now.

While Gracy was getting irritated by Sam's personality. He seems very flirty in her eyes and she thought Suzie was getting uncomfortable because of him.

“Nah I will be in your opponent team.”

Suzie said afterwhile thinking of a great comeback to match his attitude.

Now that was the response Sam was expecting he smirked in satisfaction and said.

“Be ready for your defeat than shorty..”

Sam poked her head teasingly who got angry on the name of shorty. She pushed him while he started laughing.

“Let's see who will win then!” Suzie challenged him who got excited.

“Yeahh if you win I will confe-”

Before Sam could spill anything Suzie quickly covered his mouth dragging him somewhere far from Gracy who was getting pissed now seeing them be too much "friendly"

“Are you stupid? Don't say anything that comes in your mind!” Suzie scolded.

Sam chuckled seeing Suzie pissed off look. He loves to tease her for that reaction.
