In the middle of the argument the loud voice of anchor through the microphone diverted their attention to the court and the announcement left the audience cheer in happiness but it was opposite for the two girls which were rooting for their friend. They knew how serious and devoted she was for this match but all the practice and hardwork went to waste in a blink of eye.

They were worried about how she will react to this. Gracy saw Suzie standing numb while having no expression in her face. It really scared her because that girl is litreally known for being so expressive.

Whereas Sam's team were jumping and screaming from joy while hugging each other but the brown-haired had his eyes on Suzie staring from far. With a pinch of pink blush on his cheeks and shy smile he went over to her.

Gracy was also heading towards Suzie but Anna stopped her in middle after seeing Sam approaching her. The dark-haired was confused and tried to remove her hand but got startled when she heard the other say.

“You didn't answer me! Do you like Suzie or not?” Anna asked fiercely.

“It will be the same even if I tell you or not” Gracy avoided the question.

Anna stayed silent wanting her to first confirmed it. Later Gracy decided to just tell the truth as it's not going to take her anywhere.

“Um I d-do and please don't ask me why because I myself don't know but”

She continued with a pause.

“I'll just say Why waste time finding reason when all you wanna do is love that person.” Gracy muttered shyly.

She was smiling to herself when Anna pinched her to bring her to her senses.

“Are you out of your mind? Do you-”

She was interrupted by Gracy anxiously explaining herself to be clear with her.

“I know you fear that I might come between them but no I'm not selfish but... I wish I was” Gracy admitted sadly.

“You mean try to win her? Sadly she only loves one person” Anna bluntly said.

Gracy nodded and whispered “that's why I just want to leave it for the best”

“Yeah but I hope you stop wasting your time and efforts on her who doesn't even love you and start seeing her as a friend like she do. Might the situation be less painful for you than.” Anna said genuinely.

“Easy to say then do” Gracy said while walking away.

“Yeah but you can't hold onto someone forever. You need to let it go.” Anna said the bitter truth of life to her who would literally be the least person wanting to know about it.

With that saying Anna out walked her who stayed still in her spot listlessly.

Meanwhile Sam approached Suzie while smiling ear to ear.

“Looking sad hm? I already warned you..”

Sam said being all proud and impatient while Suzie annoyingly avoided him.

“Good for you then enjoy now!” Suzie said indifferently.

She actually gave him a forced smiled and walked away but Sam like a smiling puppy followed her.

“You know the deal come on say it” He teased.

Sam tried stopping her who quickly turned around looking serious.

“I will not! Leave it not like it matters” Suzie hesitated looking down in disappointment.

Sam lifted up her chin and tried convincing the blondie who unknowingly looked detached.
