The blondie loafing around her bed in deep meditation while blankly staring at her phone screen wondering whether to send a message or not. She had been procrastinating about this for a long time.
It's been a week since they last talked and now every day it has become a job for her to sit and think about whether to initiate the conversation or not.
Their holidays are also about to start soon but having no plans or excitement for it also stressed her.
While she was lost in her thoughts, her mother bang opened the door with her lunch and smiled while putting it into the table.
“Have your lunch Suzie!” Her mother called her sweetly who just nodded sitting straight.
Seeing her daughter gloomy she asked worriedly. “Why the long face?”
“I'm fine” Suzie replied listlessly.
“How about going to our cottage with friends for your holidays?” She suggested trying to cheer her daughter's mood.
Suzie didn't have any excitement it's like her energy and interest in things are gone since the agruement with Sam. Even her mother realised it's something she cannot help with.
“Well you might change your mind and don't forget to eat.” She sighed and closed the door leaving the lost blondie.
She realised how weridly she was reacting and started feeling worse. After keeping this to herself for a week, she now finally decided to share it and let herself be at ease. The only person she wanted to share it with was Anna. She quickly dialled her number and waited.
Soon after Anna picked up and said with a grumpy voice.
“You know I'm in class right.” She whispered.
“But I'm going crazy Anna!!” Suzie whined loudly.
Anna was pissed over Suzie's stubbornness but gave in and left her class hurriedly in the middle.
“Okay now tell me what happened?” Anna asked impatiently.
Firstly she was annoyed but then after sometime she started listening carefully when such things were revealed which she never knew.
“So we are not talking! And it's been a week and it's stressing me out. What should I do?” Suzie asked helplessly.
Anna was confused as she don't know anything but the fact that it was untold since a week freaked her out.
“What happened? And you never told me this! why?” Anna yelled.
“I'm telling you now so listen actually there was a challenge that if I won the game he would c-confess and if he won I would do the same b-but.” Suzie shuttered anxiously.
Suzie was literally stumbling over her words because of how much nervous and overwhelmed with emotion she was. Anna didn't interrupted and let her finish herself.
“But as he won and I didn't confessed instead said something awful which made him mad I guess.”
Anna was silent not expecting this but somewhere in her heart she always knew Suzie would do this but that day coming so fast was unexpected.
“Why couldn't you confess?” Anna asked calmly.
Suzie went blank upon the question. She closed her eyes and gulped down her hesitation and muttered softly.
“I'm unknowingly scared Anna it feels so weird like there's something in my heart that's stopping me. This is the moment I have wished forever then why I'm I running away? It looked like I don't trust his feelings but-”
