chapter 14

Winter break started with a cold breeze going around and trees leaves turning into rusted brown before they fall, the weather was really calming and favoured for drinking hot chocolate outside the cafe.

The blonde and brunette talks randomly about their day when the other brought a shocking topic.

“I'm glad we met before I go to my hometown for vacation.”

The brunette was very chill about it while the other freak out hearing this.

“You're going to your hometown? Why didn't you tell me!?”

Suzie dramatically make faces while speaking to which Anna was very unbothered.

“My mom is forcing everyone and I wanted to tell you face to face that's why!”

She stated folding her arms together while Suzie got sad randomly.

“Hey! I know you might also go somewhere right?”

Anna taped her shoulder trying to cheer her who listlessly shook her head

“My mom is encouraging me to go to our beach cottage for holidays but I don't have anybody to- wait oh!”

Suzie paused in the mid remembering that she do have someone to enjoy with and  Anna exactly knew who that person was from Suzie's expression.

“You sure Gracy will come? And what about your mother? she was there last time when we both went”

“Obviously I will make her come with me! And sadly my mother is busy this time..” Suzie sighed.

While just sitting there Suzie was already having tons of plans and ideas for their little trip. Excitement was flowing out of her as she was giggling to herself while a small smile formed over Anna's lips, admiring her lovingly.

“I'm happy you will enjoy your break-"

“It's better to be happy than sit being sad all day!!”

Suzie energetic spirit cut off Anna's words but in enthusiasm she spill something suspicious that quickly triggered Anna senses. Her smiling face turned to frowning and she immediately guessed the reason behind it.

“Sad!? You were sad why? Wait didn't you and Sam talk it off?”

Suzie mood got off in the mention of his name she started searching for excuses as she doesn't know how to talk about it with the angry bird. How can she badmouth about her own brother to her? Suzie feared of what Anna would think of Sam and knew that she would definitely run a truck over him for doing this.

“I'm not sad because of that um I mean sad being unproductive all day I guess hehe” Suzie laughed awkwardly.

She hid her nervousness with a laugh which made the situation more suspicious, also her excuse was not that convincing.

“Wow what a new way to be sad.”

Anna sarcastically said smirking knowing well that she is gonna make her spill out each and everything but Suzie was mastered in running away from situations like this and she indeed ran away.

“It's nothing as you think Anna, um okay then I will leave first bye!”

Before Anna could do anything she hurriedly picked her stuff and side hugged the confused brunette while escaping.

“Wait!!! What about the bill bitch?!!”

Anna shouted gaining everyone attention. She sat back in embarassment accepting her fate while the blondie ran till she could no longer see the cafe, she stopped  catching her breathe and talked to herself..
