Because of you

chapter 9

Peeking through the wall she stood there waiting patiently for the brunette to finish talking with her friends.

The black-haired had came to the medical faculty just to talk with the other about something she desperately want answers of.

The sharp eyes soon noticed a pair of gloomy ones peeking continuously. Her curiousity compelled herself to approach the weirdo but the moment she got close she quickly identified the similar figure.

The furrowed eyebrows and clenched fists clearly showed that she was angry. It was like she was ready to throw hands but instead threw questions.

"Gracy! Where were you? And what's with that peeking? Are you spying on me?" Anna asked.

Instead of answering Gracy was looking here and there coping with her nervousness as she didn't expect Anna to suddenly showed up infront of her but she did expect to be questioned alot because she had been skipping college since that day with no contact with Suzie.

"She told me about what you said to her! She had been overthinking your words like crazy. Are you trying to ghost her? What is your problem?"

Anna spoke again being done with Gracy. Because of her disappearance Suzie was very restless and had been worrying about being the reason for this behaviour. This all made Anna very pissed as she doesn't like seeing Suzie upset.

"Yes I'm the problem.." Gracy despaired.

Anna was stunned by what she just heard. At one point she thought of her playing victim card but she couldn't ignore the fact that Gracy was literally holding back her tears. She looked so messed up that Anna didn't knew how to respond. Her body looked so pale and weak that could fall anytime if nobody held her.

Anna set aside her confusion and held her gently taking to their sitting area. Once they were settled face to face she signalled Gracy to explain herself.

"I was always ready for college but I just can't face her while going through this all. It took me so much to accept myself and now I know this- I can't handle it all." Gracy distressed.

Anna eyes were fixed on Gracy. She didn't understand anything but just by hearing it felt so painful.

"I am such a coward! I don't have any courage I want to apologise to her but what reason would I even give?" Gracy asked.

By now Anna was beyond confused. She felt very bad for Gracy but because of not knowing anything she can't come up to console her.

"Honestly I don't know what's happening but I think you should talk to Suzie about this." Anna suggested.

"I can't! Anyway it's not about me that I'm here for I actually wanted to ask you something please don't mind it." Gracy hesitated.

Anna took a deep sigh not ready for what type of question it's going to be. Her mind was going crazy from all the stuff.

"I knew the answers I just want to hear it from someone else so that I could be clear and stop myself." Gracy whispered.

Anna didn't care enough to ask what she just whispered and told Gracy to continue her question. She was very done with their drama by now.

"Suzie likes Sam right?" Gracy asked heavy-hearted.

"Why are you asking this?" Anna suspected on Gracy who got nervous.

"Please just tell me I won't tell anyone" Gracy pleaded.

Anna thought for a while and decided to tell her as Gracy is Suzie's close friend so she will not be mad.

"Okay I will tell you.. the answer is yes, she likes Sam." Anna said.

Anna noticed Gracy getting lost in her thoughts as she heard it. The grip on the chair tighten. She was trying to hold herself all together.
