Sophie mindlessly poked a finger at her keyboard. Writers block sucked. Her song was incomplete and according to Professor Blaire, lacked depth. She didn't know how, seeing how much pain she had experienced in her life. The song should have been drowning in depth. But alas, her ability to summon a single brain cell or thought was broken.

It had been a few days since the photography show and there were so many things on Sophie's mind. She didn't know if she could sort through them enough to write a song.

There was also the issue of her having to sing in front of who knows how many people.

She sighed and rolled out of bed, hoping to find someone to annoy for entertainment.

The house was dead quiet as she made her way to kitchen. She frowned and made herself a snack before crawling into the window alcove with a book.

Alice in Wonderland

She snuggled up into the comfy pillows in the nook and was out like a light five pages later.

Sophie woke up an hour later with a blanket on her that wasn't there prior.

Her eyes zeroed in on Victor on the couch playing video games and she sat up. "Victor? What are you doing here?"

He paused his video game and turned to her with a quirked lip. "I live here, don't I?

"But Chase said-"

"I stopped, Soph." She blinked and stood up to stretch her limbs before walking over to the couch and sitting next to Victor on her knees, giving him her full attention.

"You stopped?" She tilted her head.

"I quit drinking. It's only been a few days and it's not much, but I stopped. And I... I started therapy." He was nervous. Sophie gave him a big smile and tackled him in a hug. He chuckled and pulled her into his lap.

"I'm so proud of you," she said against his chest. He seemed so much lighter already.

He played with her hair and his eyes sparkled. "Gracias, princesa." He was quiet for a moment before he let out a sigh. "Soph, I'm so, so very sorry. About the fight with Finn and trying to drive and hurting you."

She frowned at the expression on his face. She desperately needed to see his smile again. Without thinking, she reached up and put a small hand on his cheek. She leaned in and planted a soft kiss on his lips. He tensed at first before kissing her back just as gentle. Sophie pulled back and Victor smirked. It was the best thing she had seen all day. "What was that for?"

She grabbed his hand in hers. "Just wanted to see what it would be like."

His eyebrow quirked up. "Oh? And?"

She tapped her chin in contemplation. "Hmm, not bad."

His hazel eyes flared with mischief and in a second she was on her back, Victor on top of her. "Let's try that again."

Sophie squirmed under his delicious hold. He moved his hand up to cup her cheek while the other pinned her hands. The little slice of pain was delicious. He leaned his lips down towards hers and hovered. "Is this okay, baby?" She nodded shyly. "Words."

"Y-Yes." She stuttered. Her whole body was on fire.

He swiped a thumb over her bottom lip. "Yes, what?"

She thought about the videos she watched at night. About the dominant people and what they like being called. Before she could talk herself out of it, she went for it.
