Chapter Three

Jiang Cheng went to stand in front of Wei Ying once more, "Lan er gongzi, we still need to deal with the Wen clan and we need as much help as we can get. Why does your Lan clan care so much about what Wei Wuxian is doing? With all due respect Lan er gongzi, even if Wei Wuxian is the one who took down all of the Wen disciple, it shouldn't be none of your business. Wei Wuxian can follow anyone else but you," hearing Jiang Cheng said all of this Wei Wuxian gave Lan Wangji a smirk.

Wen Chao woke up, he see Wen zhuliu dead body on the ground. Then he see Jiang Cheng, Wei Ying and Lan Wangji, he crawl over to them to ask forgiveness. This got Wei Ying very angry, he kicked Wen Chao away from him.

"Lan er gongzi, this Yunmeng Jiang clan business. Please leave so we can deal with him," Lan Zhan can tell how much Wei Ying have change, he know that Wei Ying won't let Lan Zhan help him. With a disheartening and hurt feeling inside of him, he left from there without turning around to look at Wei Ying.

Wei Ying tighten his grip on his flute, he turn to where Lan Zhan has walk off too, 'Lan Zhan, please don't blame me or hate me for walking this path. This is my only way to help with the war and protect the Jiang clan. I can only distance my from you.'

When Lan Zhan is gone, Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng end up killing Wen Chao. The two sigh with relief when they finally got their revenge. Wei Ying look at Suibian, he then turn to look at Jiang Cheng, "here."

"What? Why are you giving it back to me for?" Wei Ying sigh, "take it back to Yunmeng and put it in my room. There is something else that I need to do." Wei Ying push the sword into Jiang Cheng chest.

"Something else? Like what?" Jiang Cheng take the sword from Wei Ying hand, "I can't tell you. When I am done, then I will come find you okay?" Jiang Cheng nodded his head.

The two left the tea inn, Wei Ying decide to burn down the place this way no one can take Wen Chao body back to Wen Rouhan.

When the two walk out the inn, they see Lan Zhan who is standing at the gate waiting for them. Lan Zhan turn around to look at Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng. His eye lingered on Wei Ying the most. When Wei Ying felt eye on him, he see that Lan Zhan is looking at him.

"Jiang Cheng, make sure you put Suibian in my room okay? Also, tell Shijie that I am alright and that I will come see her soon."

"Okay," without looking at Lan Zhan, Wei Ying left from there with nothing to said to him.

'No need to think about my feelings for Lan Zhan right now, I need to go find out where Wen Ning is at. The place that I can think of is NeverNight, the indoctrination place and Dafan Mountain. First place is NeverNight, if I don't see Wen Ning then I will go to the next place.'

In the night, Wei Ying use the shadow of the night to enter into Wen Rouhan prison. Wei Ying summon up his resentment energy, "help find Wen Ning," he whispered quietly. The resentment energy went from cell to cell.

About a minute later they all came back and disappear, 'I am guessing that Wen Ning isn't here. Next place then.' He left from there without anyone seeing him leave from the dungeon.

"Next place is the indoctrination, didn't Jiang Cheng said that they burn down that place. Then only one place left," Wei Ying head to Dafan Mountain, the place where Wen Qing and her family is living right now.

On his way to Dafan Mountain, Wei Ying see Jin, Yao and Ouyang clan is attacking Wen Qing family. Wei Ying did one thing, he play on his flute as he walk toward the group. The dark mist begin to attack the disciple here and there, knocking them unconscious so that they won't get back up.

"Wei gongzi!" Wei Ying sigh with relief, "Wen Ning, are you alright?" Wen Ning nodded his head. "We were trying to leave our home until they show up. They want to capture us and take us to a place call Qiongqi path, they said something about putting us to work until we die there."

"Don't worry, I will make sure no one will capture you. Come on, you and your family are not safe here. There someone is waiting for you," Wei Ying help the other older people to push their thing down the mountain. 'No matter what happen, I will protect them.'

As Wei Ying take them to Yunmeng, he shouted to Wen Ning who is ahead of him, "Wen Ning!" Wen Ning walk back to where Wei Ying is at, "gongzi, what is it?" He asked.

"Before we arrive in this place that I am taken you too. Can you tell everyone not to wear their Wen color or tell people that your last surname is "Wen"? I don't want the Jin, Lan, Nie and Jiang to come capture you there."

"I will gongzi," so Wen Ning went to tell his family one at a time at what Wei Ying just told him.

The place Wei Ying took them to is, "Wei gongzi, where are we?" Asked Wen Ning. "Your in Yunmeng town, come," they all put down their thing outside of the inn, they followed Wei Ying inside to see that person.

He know in the door, "come in," Wen Ning push open the door, "Jie!" Wen Qing is shock and surprise to see her didi and her family alive. "Why don't you all go inside to talk? I will go talk to the inn owner."

Wei Ying pay the owner while asking about a place where his friend can live in. The owner said that there is place deep in the wood of Yunmeng, there is an abandoning house where everyone just got up and left. 'That could work, since it is in Yunmeng town then no one will attack the citizen of Yunmeng since this place belong to the Jiang clan,' "thank you."

Wei Ying went back up stair to tell Wen Qing where she can live. He knock on the door, "come in," Wei Ying opened the door, he walk in then close it behind him. "Wen Qing, I found a place here in Yunmeng where you and your family can live."
