The Lost Bird 🕊️

I still remember
how we used to talk,
the way you treated me.
That inner child of yours
was always the reason for my smile.

I miss
the beauty of your eyes,
the scent of your hair.
That smile you carried
was enough to keep my heart alive.

Your presence
filled my soul with energy,
surrounded by an aura of happiness.
Just one glimpse of you
was enough to light up my soul.

I search for you in quiet places,
In crowds, in dreams, in strangers' faces.
But every corner feels so bare,
I only find your absence there.

My heart forgot how to laugh,
It wasn’t ready to accept the loss.
The hopes we once shared
remain just a wish.
Dreams are still there, but now without you.

Though you're no longer by my side,
Your memory is my constant guide.
In dreams, you visit me each night,
A fleeting presence, soft and light.

You live in moments, in the breeze,
In whispered songs and rustling trees.
And though the pain still lingers on,
Your essence will never be gone.

And though the pain still lingers on,Your essence will never be gone

Note to the reader
Lost Bird” is a bit different from the rest of God's Apology. While the book talks about how humanity has lost its way and God's regret over this, "Lost Bird" is about a personal feeling of missing someone special.

This poem explores the sadness of losing someone and how their memory still touches our lives. It’s a more personal look at grief and remembrance, rather than the book's focus on broader themes.

I hope you find meaning in these feelings, even though they are different from the main theme of the book.
