Love is for nothing

I love you
More than the sun
More than the trees
More than the august evening breeze
I love you,
More than the stars shine at night
More than the birds in the early morning as they sing their song of delight
But my brain can't help but think, what if you don't feel the same
What if the sun dies and instead there is just rain,
what if the trees fall and it kills the pretty breeze
And what if the stars go out and the birds don't stop to sing.
I love you, but do you love me?
If we live in truth, then why below is there agony?
Can we ever really love it? Was it all just a lie?
Because I can't help but the shelter this pain I have hidden inside.
But for now, you love me, and I say I love you.
But when.. if you don't
Will you tell me the truth?
Because I can't take another prolonged heartbreak
But I will always say for good times sake
I love you.
