She was a pointsetta
Her red leaves
Larger than any bloomThey sung brighter
That no snow on petals would out do themShe stood out
She didn't belong
A wish to incase her in her eternal warmth
However
There she wilted happily in the winter weatherA coldness she craved
It was wrong of me if I tried to stop itHow could something so warm like her
Thrive themselves in such unwelcoming places
