Heaven's Light

Heaven tilted its light upon your face

The bright smile you beam, oh how it shines

I can see the flames in your eyes

One of pure glow

Is this what the Hell desires from me?

To cave
To grasp
To hold your wings

I am reaching for you

I am although stuck between your home and where I'll remain

Earth is lonely

Every dawn I try to feel your presence again

And every dusk I pray for your final return to my arms

With Heaven's light upon your face.
