Seasons of Passing

By the babbling brooks and blue bright skies
I was born amongst them

Summer began its turn to fall

Leaves dance around my hair
To the cold ground

Which soon the frost were kissing
My nose, lips, and fingertips

I watched white powder snow melt

Rain came along
With that brought flowers

I played with them all day

Till my next Summer
