Chapter 1: The Phone Call

Chapter 1
(Sophia's pov)

1 year later

Its been one year since I've arrived in New York and moved in with Aunt Sarah. I've gotten over Noah and am happier then ever. After the incident I quickly packed and under two days I was off to New York.

Noah broke my heart into millions of pieces and Luke put all those pieces back together. He showed me what it was to truly be happy with myself and helped me get over my own insecurities. And I thank him today to help me become one of America's up and coming best models.

I have a boyfriend named Luke and I lo- like him very much, we've had a couple of fights here and there but I can say they were all worth it. Those fights bought us even closer today and i'm proud to say he's one of the most important in my life.

Flashback

I stepped off my plane and headed down to the waiting area to go get my luggage.

I was wearing a big white sweater and jeggings because of the old weather here in New York.

I looked around to see my name held up by a handsome guy.It read 'Sophia Brava.' I walked toward the boy.

"Hello" I held out my hand to the boy as I smiled at him.

"I'm Sophia Brava, and you are?" I questioned this handsome boy.

He stood there looking at me as if I were an alien. I waved my hands in his face. He blinked 3 times and smiled warmly at me.

"I'm Luke Taylors." He held his hand out in front of me and looked at me in admiration. I shook him hand.

"I'm sorry about earlier, its just that you are so... pretty." He said as he blushed and looked anywhere but at me.

"Its fine...umm thanks." I said to him and blushed and looked away.

' He's not too bad but he is cute as hell. I can't believe you are doing this now, your ex just cheated on you and now you are jumping the next dude you meet' My inner Sophia was saying.

'Quit talking he is the one who cheated on me and I'm not going to hold back from being happy again, and this time without him'  My new side says.

He looked back at me and noticed me checking him out. He smirked at me. I noticed small dimples and found him even cuter.

"Your welcome." I said quickly as he noticed my blush. I looked at him and saw him smirking at my red cheeks. I overcome the little moment I had and found a new burst of confidence in me and wrapped my arm around his arm and started pulling him towards baggage claim.

"So will New York meet up to my expectations?"

End Flashback

"Sophia,there's a call for you!" Aunt Sarah said softly to me. I saw tears in her eyes and regret in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" I said concern, I've never seen Aunt Sarah so sad. She looks at the phone and mutters something to the person on the other side. She soon held out the phone towards me.

I take it wearily and give my a aunt a confused look and then say, "Hello?"

"Hey, honey...... I think it's time to come back home." I heard the sound of my mother's voice say on the other side.

"... and your Aunt Sarah is coming along with you." She adds on after a second.

"Wait what's wrong? Why is Aunt Sarah so sad? Is something wrong back home?" I ask my mother and I hear her sigh.

"I'll tell you everything when you come back home, bye honey."

Something told me this wasn't just going to be a regular visit back home but now I'm going back for good.
