Chapter 16

(Sophia's pov)

I got inside the car with Noah closing the door behind me. I take out my phone and check my messages.

New messages

Clair (2 missed calls, 6 messages)
Lucus (5 messages)
Mom (3 missed calls)

I call mom back and tell her I'll be out for the day. And texted Clair and Lucus back.

I put my phone back into my bag and looked straight onto the road.

I glance over to Noah and he looks back from the corner of his eyes.

One hand on the wheel and the other on the console. I studied his face and noticed he hasn't been shaving much.

Noah smirks at me.

"You know its rude to stare." He says.

I quickly look away and feel my cheeks heat up. He chuckles.

'His voice... '

'Step out of it.'

I look back at Noah and back to the road.

"So where are we going" I curiously ask Noah.

"I told you its a surprise." He says.

"I hate surprise" I mumble.

After the game of truth or dare in the car. Noah put on some music and the song "Hello" by Adele played.

By the end of the song I thought deeply. Unconsciously I was sitting like a statue.

"You alright?" Noah asked me with concern laced.

I stepped out of my trance and I look back at him with sadness.

"Yeah. Yeah I'm good" I say to him and quickly avert my eyes from him.

'Sophia finish what you started' I think to myself.

We pull up to a familiar building and I look back at Noah with a sad look in my eyes.

He looks backs at me with a small smile.

Flashback

Me and Noah step inside the big building and I look around this big hall.

I walk around the big theater and observe everything in the room.

"I rented out this whole theater just for us." He raises his hand and snaps his fingers.

I look back to where the piano was playing and I look back at Noah and smile.

"You remember my favorite song" I say softly, swoning over Noah.

He walks towards me and takes my hand and we both walk down the stairs.

We both reach the stage and Noah places my hand on his shoulder and his hand small on my back and we both sway at the music.

"Why waste all this trouble?" I ask him.

"Cause I wanted to ask you something really important and I needed the right scenery"

"What is it you wanted to ask." I say to him looking at him in the eyes. He smiles at me.

We sway on the music and after a few seconds he let's go of me.

"This will only take one second." He says while going back up the stairs and pulls this string and unfolded this sign which said:

Will you be my girlfriend ❤

He comes running down and looks at me.

" I never thought I would ever say this but yes Noah King I will become your girlfriend."

He smiles at me and envolps me in a bear hug.
