Chapter 10

I ran to the room and cried so much. I sat on the bed. How could he spread such a lie about me? Just then, anna walked in.

"Ei Malini innaikku nee chinna pasangalukku class eduththala? Ep- Ei ethukku maa azhura?" he asked me worried
(Hey Malini you took class for the boys today right? How was it- Hey why are you crying?)

"Onnum illa naa." I said wiping my tears

(Who cries for no reason? Tel me what happened I'll take care of jt)

(Das spread a rumour about me, and now everyone is asking me to sleep with them)

"Illa venam naa, aprom avanga mela kai nee vachcha atha vachche ethayachum seithudivanga." I said pulling him by his arm.

"Illa maa-." I cut him off

"Tch, vidunga naa, naan paaththukkuran." I said wiping my tears as I got up to go shower quickly and sleep.

*The next morning*
I woke up and got ready for day. Today is going to be a long day I hought to myself as I gathered my things ready to leave to the jail. I was passing a group of boys when they whistled at me.

"Semma figure la mame." a boy said. I ignored them and went to the room I was teaching in yesterday.

I wasn't surprised when I saw Das and his group in there sitting on the tables smoking.

"Enna Malini, sowkkiyama?" Dheena asked me and I ignored him
(Hey Malini, how are you?)

"Dei nee ennada ipdi kekkura? Nethu nightukku piragu sowkkiyama illama vera epdi iruppa?" Das said stretching maling the group laugh
(Hey why ask that? Of course she is fine, especially after last night)

This just pissed me off, so I walked over to him and slapped him across the cheek. He just stood there stunned.

"Dei un manasula nee enna thaanda nenachuttu irukka? Ennakum unakkum entha vithamana thodarbu illanu unakku nallave theriyum. Nee ithellam ethukkaha pandrennum nalla theriyum. (What are you thinking? You and I have no such relationship, you know it too. I also know why you are doing all of this. If you go around soreasing anymore rumours, I'll hit you with my shoes, knock your teeth out and give them right to you.)

Das' pov:

"Enna machchan un mela kai vachchuttu pora nee onnum pannala?" Dheena asked me
(Dude, she just hit and you didn't do anything?!)

"Amanda, romba over ah thaan pandra. Naanga vena-" I interrupted them
(Yh bro, she is going over her limit. Should we-)

"Tch, vidungada, pohattum." I said rubbing my cheek
(Leave her, it's fine)

"Dei ennada nee?!" Dheena said
(Dude, what?)

"Athaan vidunganu sollren la vidunga." I replied
(I said leave it.)

I didn't expect for her to hit me. I can't lie it was kinda hot

Malini's pov:

It felt good to hit Das. After 5 mins, I returned back to room and the group was still there. I sat down and was midning my own business. A dew minutes later, the group left leaving me and Das behind. He cleared his throat but I ignored him. He cleared it once again and this time I responded.

"Enna?" I asked him
(What?)

"Illa summa thaan." he replied continuing to smoke his beedi
(Nothing)

I hated the smell of cigarettes so I got up and did something

"Dei beedi ya keela potuttu nilluda, manam thaanga mudila." I said snatching it out of his hand throwing it on the floor.
(Throw the cigarette away, I hate the smell)

"Ei-" I cut him off

"Summa summa sound ah vidatha. Evlo naala beedi beedi yah adichchuttu nikka pora?" I asked him pouring more oil into his already
burnning fire.
(Don't just keep shouting. How long are going to keep smoking for?)

"Nee romba over ah pandra." he said

"Naan apdi thaan pannuvan, enna pannuva?" I asked him
(So? I am like that, what will you do?)

He just stared at me and then smirked.

"Enna paakkura?" I asked him
(What are you looking at?)

"Nethu unna kiss pannatha vida pathu madangu pannuvan, paakuriya?" he said
(I'll do 10 times more stuff to you than kissing you, like yesterday.)

"Panni paaru, moonjiya udaichchu viduren. PODA!" I said flustered pushing him out of the room onky to find the little boys standing there with the most horrid faces.
