After 1 year,
One year has passed since we embarked on this incredible journey to create the Salvatore Boarding School for Young and Gifted. Seeing it evolve from a mere idea into a thriving reality has been nothing short of amazing.
We all knew that one day we might have to make difficult decisions, like enrolling Klaus and Hayley’s daughter. Tyler’s growth and willingness to include her were pivotal moments, showing just how much he’s changed and how dedicated he is to the school’s mission. It’s exactly what we hoped for—a place where everyone, regardless of their background, can find acceptance and opportunity.
As headmistress, I’ve had the privilege of watching our vision come to life. The school has become a sanctuary for supernatural beings, offering them a space to learn, grow, and be themselves. Stefan and I are deeply involved in teaching about vampirism, while Kol and Bonnie’s magic classes have been a hit. Tyler’s classes for werewolves are creating strong bonds within that community, and Alaric’s Latin and Runes lessons are both challenging and fascinating for the students.
Finn’s dark objects have made recruiting students a bit more magical, and Damon and Elena’s missions have brought in a diverse group of young supernatural beings. Marcel’s contributions have been invaluable, providing real-life battle experience and encouraging young witches, werewolves, and vampires from New Orleans to join us.
Our extracurricular activities are flourishing, thanks to Jeremy’s art classes and the other wonderful teachers we’ve hired for languages, boxing, dancing, and music. The school’s atmosphere is vibrant, and it’s thrilling to see the students so engaged.
The four houses—Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin—are balanced with students from different species, promoting diversity and fostering new friendships. The point system and the new version of football have added a fun competitive edge, making the school experience even more exciting for the kids.
Looking around the school, I’m filled with pride and gratitude for everyone who’s helped make this dream a reality. It’s more than just a school; it’s a new era for young supernaturals, a place where they can be themselves and prepare for the future in a supportive and inclusive environment. This journey has been challenging, but every step has been worth it.
