Leonardo's presence was overwhelming as Yulia sat in the sleek, minimalistic office, taking in the modern decor and the fact that all three men seemed to share this space. Despite the simplicity of the room, it carried an air of sophistication, much like the man standing before her.
When he handed her the credit card, Yulia accepted it carefully, her fingers brushing against his for the briefest moment. "It has a limit of 10,000 dollars on it. I assume the contract was clear about the rules, sì?" His voice was smooth but firm, the thick Italian accent making it a challenge to focus on anything other than him. She nodded, feeling a little nervous holding something so valuable, yet reassured by the trust he seemed to place in her.
He continued, "Very well. The other rules about roaming the house or needing space outside of the estate, they don't apply to you. This is your home now, and I want you to treat it as such." His accent grew thicker, more pronounced, as his words carried both warmth and an unspoken authority. But what really captured her attention was how, as he spoke, he adjusted his glasses and casually rolled up his sleeves.
Her gaze lingered on his forearms, tracing the inked lines of his tattoos. Most of them seemed abstract or symbolic, but one in particular caught her eye—a tattoo of Matteo's name, bold and permanent. It surprised her, and she bit her lip without thinking, lost in thought about the meaning behind it. Could it be a testament to their bond? A sign of something deeper between the men?
Before she could fully process her curiosity, Leonardo had risen from his chair and was standing directly in front of her. She hadn't even noticed him move, so lost in her thoughts. His sudden proximity sent a jolt of awareness through her, and her breath hitched as he reached down and gently pulled her lip from between her teeth. The touch was soft, but the effect it had on her was anything but. A shiver coursed down her spine, and her heart began to race.
"I will not warn you again, mio amore," he whispered, his voice low and intimate. His gaze was piercing, and Yulia felt frozen under the intensity of his eyes. Her pulse pounded in her ears, and she struggled to steady her breathing. The way he said mio amore made her feel as if the words were wrapping around her, drawing her in closer to him, even though she wasn't sure what he meant by them.
Her mind was racing. Was this how they all felt about her? Did they want her in ways she hadn't dared to imagine? The boundaries between playful flirtation and something far deeper were beginning to blur, and Yulia wasn't sure how to navigate it. But in that moment, all she could focus on was Leonardo's closeness, his unwavering gaze, and the undeniable chemistry crackling between them.
As Yulia's eyes trailed over Leonardo's lips and then locked onto his intense gaze, her thoughts became a whirl of confusion. She struggled to stay grounded, but the pull of his piercing blue eyes made her feel as though she were standing on the edge of a precipice. The air between them was thick, laced with a tension she couldn't quite control. Every breath she took felt heavy, as if she were inhaling his very essence. "I-I-uhm..." she stammered, unable to form coherent words under the weight of his presence.
