As Alessandro placed Yulia gently on the bed after her bath, she couldn't help but notice how much more fluid his English had become. His words were clearer, more confident.
"Your English got better, Alessandro," Yulia remarked, her voice soft as she settled into the bed, a faint smile playing on her lips.
Alessandro grinned at her, brushing a strand of damp hair away from her face. "Yes, Bella, I studied whenever I could," he replied, his accent still present but the improvement undeniable. Yulia's smile widened at his response, feeling a sense of pride at how much he had improved.
"Good boy," she teased, her voice playful, the words slipping out before she could stop them.
Alessandro's reaction was immediate—he threw his head back in a hearty laugh, the sound filling the room. Without warning, he reached out and pinched her bum, causing Yulia to squeal and instinctively move away from him, her face flushing with surprise.
"If you don't behave, you'll get punished like Matteo," Alessandro teased, his voice low and filled with warning, though there was a playful glint in his eyes. Yulia shuddered, a mix of curiosity and apprehension running through her at his words.
Her curiosity, as always, got the better of her. "Can we talk about that?" she asked hesitantly, her voice more serious now as she sat up slightly in the bed. Alessandro nodded, sitting beside her, his expression softening.
"What do you want to know?" he asked, his tone calm and patient, willing to answer whatever she needed.
Yulia hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to phrase her question. With a small sigh, she shrugged lightly, trying to gather her thoughts. "What kind of punishments are there?" she finally asked, her voice filled with genuine curiosity. She had heard bits and pieces, but the idea still left her wondering.
Alessandro hummed thoughtfully, his eyes narrowing as he considered how to answer. "I think Matteo is better explaining that," he finally said, a small smile tugging at his lips. The amusement in his voice didn't go unnoticed, but Yulia nodded, making a mental note to ask Matteo about it tomorrow.
The door creaked open slightly, and Yulia's heart fluttered as she saw Leonardo step inside. A shudder ran through her as she remembered the intensity of their earlier moments. His presence always had that effect on her—a mix of excitement and nervousness that made her feel both vulnerable and safe at the same time.
"Hi, baby. How are you feeling?" Leonardo asked, his voice gentle as he walked over to the couch by the window—the spot she had turned into her reading space. His eyes scanned her face, looking for any signs of discomfort.
"Good," Yulia whispered, her voice soft and shy. She wasn't sure how to act around him after everything, her emotions still tangled. But his smile, that familiar warmth, reassured her.
Leonardo's expression softened even more, but then he spoke again, his tone more serious. "I came to apologize," he said, his words hanging in the air like a weight.
