"Cole!! why are you stressing your father and i this much at your age", my mother screams into my ear through the phone,"have you ever heard Alicia, your younger sister, ask for money? of course not! that is because she is doing well in her architectural job while you are lazying around in your apartment with NO job-".
I hung up on her.
I am really sick and tired of hearing the same things over and over again. Always comparing me to Alicia.
Oh Alicia did this, Alicia did that
Ugh. It is actually quite surprising that Alicia and i are really close. She is still my lil sis and i love her and i'm proud of her that she is doing well. But can mum and dad stop yapping about it in my ear.
*Thirty minutes later*
There is a knock on the door. I grudgingly dragged myself out of my comfortable spot on my couch in my small messy apartment to go open the door.
Behind the door stood my beautiful sister Alicia. We look totally different. I have a bleached blonde hair and icy blue eyes while she has jet black hair and icy blue eyes too. It is safe to say i beat up a lot of guys when she was in high school.
I smiled lazily at her,"Sup Alicia", i say letting her in.
"Hey Cole" she replied walking in and surveying the mess in my apartment. She turned back towards me with a smirk on her lips.
"I like what you've done with the place", she says sarcastically. I roll my eyes playfully at her.
" So what did mum say you should tell me because i know her highness wouldn't willingly come and visit", i say mockingly and even did a mock bow. She laughed but soon got serious. Well that is never a good sign.
"Mum said i should tell you to pack your things and leave the apartment", she says sadly.
Wait what?
I stared at her for a moment then realized she wasn't joking.
"You cant be serious Alicia", i say dumbfounded.
She sighed,"I am, she said that her and dad have stopped paying for your expenses and anything you got through their money should be returned back", she recited.
"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!", i shouted. I turned away from her and ran my hands through my hair taking a deep breath and trying to be reasonable.
"Alicia you have to talk to them they listen to whatever you say, tell them that this is insane!", i say.
Silence.
"Alicia?", i say turning around. She had a guilty look on her face. My eyes widened.
"You too? you have become like them haven't you? I CANT BELIEVE YOU!!", i screamed.
"Cole, i have not become like them but this one time i actually agree with them", she desperately explained,"maybe this can help you get your life together. Maybe it can help you make-"
"Make something of my life?!?! is that what you wanted to say? huh!!", i cut her off angrily.
I closed my eyes and breathed in deeply trying to calm down.
"I need to think", i say before i leave her in the living room and head to my room shutting the door with a bang.
At this point, i don't care if the neighbors heard me. I was getting kicked out unto the streets by my own family.
I pushed some heavy books from my dresser angrily and they fell with a loud bang.
Now this is where it gets confusing.
I do not remember any thing else after that moment except waking up with my cheek pressed up against a warm thick pool of blood and opening my eyes to see the lifeless icy blue eyes of my sister staring back at me.
