"Dude, I can't believe the whole drama thing" Earl said stuffing bread sticks into his mouth.
I don't know what ' drama' he's talking bout. All I know is that my body aches and I'm starving.
Nurse Riley walks in with the blue pills and boy am I happy.
Profile Update.
Nurse Riley: Nicest Male Nurse of the year. Won it 5 times in a roll. And yes, patients vote.
blue pills: more like relaxing pills. Also serve as pain killers.
"Okay, time to move to the common room for your pills beauts" Nurse Riley sings.
We all groan and literally drag ourselves into the common room.
*Tears* No more bread sticks.
I sit down on the galleria chair with sophie. She's this girl with multiple colours in her hair. I liked her first time I got here because she was hardcore and all but she has turned me down like so many times. Apparently, she likes me but this hardcore ego of hers won't admit. Alexis, her roomate told me. But why stick to just sophie when I can have all the girls in the institute.
"Take your pills and welcome your new uh --"
"cellmate?" Sophie suggested.
"No!! Whatever. Just be nice. Her name Nancy Stewart. She's seventeen. And she has a speech problem. Don't act surprised" Nurse Riley finished up. I took my pill and swallowed it without hestitation.
"So like you mean, she can't make a sentence?" Earl asked.
"No, She can't talk" Alexis corrected him.
"Finally a quiet one. Unlike these bulls" Sophie commented.
Just then, a girl walks in wearing a patient dress. She was about 5"7, brown puffy hair, big brown eyes and glorious caramel skin. She was a black queen. Most beautiful girl I met. She had her ear buds on probably listening to songs on her ipod.
Wait a minute. IPOD? They allowed her?
We were allowed to bring gadgets but we got them after breakfast and returned them at exactly 11 pm at night. We are not allowed to lock our gadgets cause the institute checks them. So any personal things on the gadgets are viewed by the nurses. It's not exactly personal cause the nurses literally know all.
She gracefully remove her buds and smiles sweetly at us.
I think I am in love. Forget Sophie, this girl is just... I hope she doesn't have a boyfriend. Is this the pills talking?
"This is Nancy you guys" Riley points out.
"Duh" Alexis says
"Damn, girl you are beautiful. My name is Earl. That girl with the colourful hair is Sophie, her roomate Alexis and the playboy Cole. This is our squad though. You can join any other but I think you fit here perfectly. We need a pretty girl in our squad" Earl charms his way towards Nancy.
"Heyyyy" Alexis makes an offensive face.
Sophie and I just laughed.
I think Nancy just brought light into this dark and lonely place.
I couldn't get my eyes off Nancy. I stand up to give her a welcome hug and just touching her is like so--
sigh. Nancy stewart welcome!!
