Making my way to the toilet at 3AM in the morning is the worst part of each day I live, how can you be asleep probably enjoying yourself then all of sudden you get nauseated. I can't explain why I feel this way but I do not like it one bit. As I rinse my mouth trying to get the horrid taste out, I hear someone mumbling and at first I thought it was probably the nurses making their morning shifts but it sounded like someone having an argument. I walk out the toilet and hide behind the water fountain trying to eavesdrop. It was wrong but who stays up at 3 arguing? And why the hell would they put a fountain in the balcony? These were questions I would love to ask someone sane as me. I bent down just in time as the person - a girl I realized turned around.
"No Lizzy, you don't get it. You're the only one that knows I actually talk" the girl mumbled.
Lizzy? Who the hell was that? who was this girl? Her voice wasn't familiar
"I'm moving to the other side, like that's where rich kids stay"
why you're one lucky girl X.
Yes I decided to call her X as in Unknown
"yeah, we'll be able to talk like every time. Though my aunt said in two months I'll be able to talk with the treatment I receive from the other side. So I'll just fake some things and all"
Wait a minute, the only person moving to the other side was Nancy.
No It can't be
With this curiosity tingling within I stood up to be make sure. It was her. It was Nancy. Speaking. Words. coming out of her mouth. Complete Sentences. I couldn't let her see me so I had to crawl. Imagine! Earl the great was crawling!! I was almost out of sight when I heard the last sentence she said.
"Lizzy,I can't tell them I can speak. They'll hate me and I can't have that"
I got to my door and literally ran inside as I heard footsteps around the corner. What was I supposed to do? I really liked Nancy but I've been with my gang for a much longer time. They deserved to know the truth but she must have her reason for lying. I was so confused and the only way was to talk to Nancy.
"Yo, Earl what are doing on the floor. It's 3:46AM. Get to bed" Cole said going back to sleep
ugh, what am I to do?
