Javi let out a groan as he laid his head on the hood of the car. He regretted his decision to take so many shots with Cherry. He looked up when he heard a laugh. He saw Scott standing there with a coffee in his hand. He was clearly enjoying how much pain Javi was in.

"I forgot how much of a baby you are when you're hungover."

Javi rolled his eyes. "I almost forgot how much of a dick you were."

"Where's Cherry?" Javi smiled at Scott's question.

"Wouldn't you like to know."

"I wouldn't have asked if not." Scott responded as he leaned on the car next to Javi.

"She's getting the rest of her stuff packed for the road." Javi finally answered.

"I hope she holds her liquor better than you."

"She always did." Javi laughed before looking at his friend. "What happened last night?"

Scott looked down at Javi. "Don't tell me you drank so much you forgot."

"No." Javi shook his head. "I'm talking about you knocking a man unconscious for Cherry before carrying her to her room."

"So you were awake?" Scott asked, amused. He nearly had to drag Javi out of the car when he wouldn't wake up. It was until Scott threatened to lock him in the car that Javi crawled out of the car.

"For a minute. Now answer the question."

Scott shrugged. "There's nothing to explain. I helped her out."

"I stand by my original statement." Scott looked over when Javi laughed. "You're so whipped for her."

"Am not." Scott argued.

"Just admit you like her."

Scott rolled his eyes at Javi. "I don't like her."

"So you knocking a man unconscious and carrying her up to her room last light was for what? You being nice?"

Scott nodded his head, stubbornly not wanting to say that Javi was right. "That's called being a good person. I don't like her. End of discussion."

Javi tilted his head, not believing the man in front of him. "I don't believe you. I've known you for years, and I've never seen you act like this."

"I don't care what you believe in. The only reason I'm so close to her is because I tolerate her for you. That's it." Javi's eyes widened at Scott's words. Those words were a lie.  A lie that he wished would've never came out of his mouth. "I can't stand her. I don't know how you do it."

"There's the asshole Scott I've heard so much about." Scott's eyes widened as Cherry's voice came from behind him. He turned to look behind him and there she was, leaning on the car behind them with an unreadable expression. "I almost thought Javi was a liar."
