Jimin's eyes darted to the rearview mirror and then back to the cars surrounding them. His grip on Y/N's hand tightened as tension built in the enclosed space.
Y/N's heart pounded in her chest as she frantically looked around, trying to make sense of what was happening. The dark clouds loomed, the rain hammering down against the car, adding to the growing sense of dread.
Jimin clenched his jaw, his pulse quickening. "Stay still, Y/N!" he barked, his voice sharp, echoing with fear and command.
His use of her real name caught her off guard-he had never called her by her name with such intensity before. It terrified her, her breath hitching as her eyes welled up with tears.
Her body froze as she stared at him, unsure of what to do or say. The rain made it hard to see outside, but she could feel something was terribly wrong.
The pit in her stomach twisted painfully, and her hands trembled.
Jimin quickly barked orders to his driver, his mind racing for a way out. He reached for his phone, dialing Yoongi's number, but there was nothing.
"No signal? In this rain?" He muttered under his breath, fury mixing with fear. "Fuck! Fuck!" he cursed, slamming his fist against the dashboard, trying to think fast.
His heart sank as he realized the situation was spiraling out of control. The sudden stillness in the air, the absence of Yoongi's support, and the overwhelming presence of cars surrounding them-it wasn't just an ambush. This was Taehyung. He was sure of it now.
Jimin's eyes darkened as he watched Taehyung step out of the car, his figure radiating a chilling calm despite the chaos unfolding. The rain poured down heavily, but Taehyung stood tall, an umbrella shielding him from the storm, his gaze locked on the car where Jimin and Y/N were sitting.
Jimin's grip on Y/N tightened painfully as he realized there was no escaping this moment. His rage simmered just beneath the surface, but he fought to keep his composure, knowing one wrong move could cost him everything. His chest heaved with barely contained fury, his mind racing for a way out.
Y/N, on the other hand, was overwhelmed with emotion. The moment her eyes landed on Taehyung, her heart leaped with a wave of relief.
Her lips parted as she softly whispered his name, "Taehyung," barely audible but filled with so much yearning, so much hope. It was as if seeing him erased all her fear, all her doubts. He was here, and she suddenly felt safe, even with Jimin beside her.
Her hand instinctively reached for the door handle, her body moving without thought, driven by the desperate need to go to him, to be in his arms.
But just as she was about to push the door open, Jimin yanked her back with a harsh tug, his grip bruising her skin.
"Let me go!" she shouted, her voice filled with panic as she struggled against him, her heart aching to be with Taehyung.
Tears threatened to spill from her eyes as she fought against Jimin's hold, her hands pushing against him in a futile attempt to break free.
Jimin gritted his teeth, his voice low and dangerous.
"You're not going anywhere, Y/N. Stay still," he hissed, his breath hot against her ear. He wasn't going to lose her-not to Taehyung, not to anyone.
Taehyung's jaw clenched tighter as the police officer's voice boomed through the speaker. "You're surrounded, Mr. Park. Hand Mrs. Kim over to us and surrender immediately."
The rain poured down in heavy sheets, drumming against the cars and the asphalt beneath them. Taehyung stood tall, eyes locked on the car where Jimin was holding Y/N.
