Taehyung sat beside Y/N, his heart aching as he gazed at her pale face, noticing the fragile rise and fall of her chest. She looked so delicate, yet she had been so strong-fighting for both herself and the life growing inside her. The thought of her carrying their child, while enduring so much pain, tore him apart.
His hands trembled slightly as he reached for hers, gently caressing her fingers. Her skin was soft, but so cold. He swallowed the lump in his throat, trying to fight back the tears that blurred his vision.
"Wake up, baby," he whispered, his voice breaking with emotion. "Please, it's enough now. Please talk to me." His thumb brushed over the back of her hand, his heart heavy with guilt. "I want to hear your voice... I want to see your beautiful smile."
His head hung low for a moment, and he let out a shaky breath. "I promise you, Y/N... I'll never leave you alone again. I won't let anything happen to you or our baby." He closed his eyes, leaning down to press a gentle kiss on her hand, holding it like it was the most precious thing in the world.
The once cold-hearted mafia boss, feared by everyone, now sat here, utterly vulnerable-begging for a glimpse of life from the woman he loved. His heart pounded in his chest, filled with a deep and overwhelming love he had never known he could feel.
He kept talking to her, his voice soft and full of desperation, as if his words alone could bring her back to him. He spoke to her, to their baby, to the future he so desperately wanted with them.
"I need you, Y/N," he whispered, his voice cracking. "Please, come back to me."
For the first time in his life, Taehyung felt truly helpless. No amount of power, no amount of money or influence could change this moment. All he could do was wait, and hope, and pray that the woman he loved-the woman who had saved him in more ways than one-would open her eyes and come back to him.

The soft morning light filtered into the hospital room, casting a gentle glow on Y/N's pale face. Her eyelids fluttered, her nose scrunching slightly as she began to wake, the light gently pulling her from the depths of unconsciousness. Her eyes slowly opened, adjusting to the brightness that now filled the room.
The sterile white ceiling came into focus first, and then, with a painful throb in her shoulder, everything rushed back to her-the terrifying moments, Jimin's twisted words, the gunshot. Panic briefly spiked through her as she instinctively tried to move, but the sharp ache in her shoulder reminded her of the bullet wound. She winced slightly, turning her head, and saw the thick white bandage covering the injury. Her breath quickened, but then... a wave of relief washed over her.
She wasn't with Jimin anymore.
A heavy weight on her hand caught her attention. Her eyes trailed down to see Taehyung, his head resting on the side of her bed, his strong hand wrapped protectively around hers. He was asleep, his face softened by exhaustion, his usually sharp features looking so peaceful in this moment of rest. His hair was disheveled, dark strands falling into his eyes, and the slight stubble on his jaw made him appear even more worn.
Her heart pounded in her chest as she looked at him, her emotions swirling-a mixture of relief, gratitude, and something deeper. She stared at his face, taking in every detail, realizing how much she had missed him. He looked so vulnerable, so different from the powerful man she was used to. He had been here all this time, waiting for her, staying by her side.
Relief sank into her bones, and for the first time in what felt like ages, she felt safe. Truly safe.
Y/N's fingers gently curled around Taehyung's, squeezing his hand as if to reassure herself that he was real, that this moment was real. The feeling of his warmth against her skin was a comfort she hadn't realized she'd been yearning for.
