*General POV*
(Today was Grace Y/n Hargreeves' 6th birthday party. The kids were already there along with Five who had helped Diego and Lila set up. and like any other family gathering chaos would insue. Luther and Ben arrived soon after. Ben grabbed a beer immediately as Lila was yelling at Diego about the pinata. Ben made his way other to Five who was standing away from everyone near a ballpit, also drinking a beer.)
Five: What was it? Ponzi scheme? White-collar crime?
Ben: Crypto exchange. Web 3.0, baby. Feds only went after me because I'm an outsider. A fucking maverick like Elon.
Five: Well, that and you bankrupted 100,000 people
Ben: The whole thing was a witch hunt.
Five: Yeah, well, say what you will. It's still good to have you back. Cheers
(Five holds up his bottle and Ben does the same before they both take a drink as Luther pops out of the ball pit and laughs.)
Luther: Gotcha!
(Five and Ben just stare at him)
Luther: Oh come on, it's been years since we've all been together like this.
Ben: Ever think maybe there's a good reason for that?
Five: Where's Viktor?
Luther: Oh, uh, he said he was coming.
Five: What about Allison?
Luther: Well, she's usually a no-show, right? Maybe it's better that way
Five: Maybe you're right.
(Diego walks over)
Diego: Hey Five? Could you help me with the drinks?
Five: Yeah, sure.
(Five puts his beer down on the table next to them and follows Diego to his car to grab the cases of juices for the kids.)
Diego: Anything new?
Five: About?
Diego: You know what I'm talking about. Any news on Y/n?
Five: You know I would tell you if there was, but no, nothing yet.
Diego: So you ever get worried, that you know... she really didn't make it?
Five: No. Y/n's strong. If we made it out alive, so did she. We just need to find her.
(They go back into the party and place the cases on a table and starts to open it.)
Diego: When do you think I'll hear back from the agency?
Five: Sorry?
Diego: The CIA, bro. You gave them my resume, right?
Five: Right. That's heading up the ladder as we speak.
Diego: That's what I'm talking about! You told them about my multiple disciplines? hand-to-hand, karate, Aikido, Hapkido, Krav Maga, Jujitsu, Muay Thai, Kendo, Sambo--
Five: Diego, I let 'em know. I told 'em
(Five walked away as Klaus and Claire entered the building)
