Part 12: Book Club

(The Academy split up after that. Luther and Ben went home. Allison brought Claire and Klause home as well. Diego finished cleaning up as Lila left to go to her "book club" and Five went to work since he had an undercover meeting with a group called the keeps but he never expected to run into Lila there, posing as a girl named Nancy. There was a presentation about "the umbrella effect" where people believed they were in the wrong timeline. If only they knew. The leaders, Gene and Jean, talked about "the cleanse" and how they can return to the original timeline. After the meeting they both went to a cafe to figure things out.) 

Lila: Look, if these artifacts are from different timelines, and now they're showing up... 

Five: It's possible the old man's reset didn't take. 

Lila: What does that even mean? 

Five: I have no idea. Look, whatever this is, don't say anyhting to the family just yet.  All right? Not even Diego. 

Lila: Absolutely not! He thinks I'm at book club. It's easier that way. 

Five: I know every marriage is different but I don't remember mine having this much deception. 

Lila: Well you were only married for a couple days before she died. 

Five: She's not died. 

(Five's mood shifted immediately. How dare she say that!) 

Lila: I'm sorry Five. You're right, Y/n's not dead. I'm sure you and Diego will find her someday. 

(Lila grabbed his hand in an attempt to be comforting, and even though Five pulled away, The damage was done. What they didn't know was they were being watch. Diego sat outside in his van watch Lila without being able to see Five's face and immediately thought that his suspicions about Lila cheating on him was accurate.)

Diego: Book Club, my ass. 

(Unbeknownst to even Diego, there was someone else watching them. Y/n sat in her castle watching the 3 of them just waiting for an excuse to come back to her family.)
