Barry, Hunter and I were standing on the roof of my apartment building.
Ruby created a fire shield around herself and Amber, preventing us from getting close as she burned Amber alive.
"No!" Hunter screamed in pain and anger.
Letting the fire fade, Ruby released Amber, letting her fall to the ground, dead.
I instantly ran to kneel next to Amber's body, sobbing in denial. "No, no, no, please. This can't be happening again. Amber? Amber!"
Hunter looked down at Amber, devastated and his head started twitching as he recalled watching his father kill his mother. All the happy memories he shared with Amber raced through his mind as his psyche started to shatter, making him twitch more.
Ruby walked up behind him. "Isn't that better? Now, you're free. Time to embrace the darkness."
Hunter started to breathe heavily as he felt anger consume him and his eyes turned black.
Ruby smirked. "Good. Now show Barry exactly why family is a weakness."
Barry looked at Hunter, his eyes widening in fear.
Hunter zoomed away.
Barry instantly followed, leaving in a flash.
I looked up at Ruby, glaring with tears in my eyes.
"You feel the anger, don't you, Phoenix?" Ruby asked. "I told you, the two of us are the same."
Shaking with rage, I blazed towards Ruby and pushed her to the ground.
"There you go, Phoenix!" Ruby told me. "Use your anger! Just like I did."
Ruby ignited, pushing me back and blazed away. I chased after her, igniting my body to fly faster. We blazed through the streets of Central City, leaving a trail of blue and orange fire. I pushed forward, catching up to her and throwing a blast of fire towards her, making her stumble and fall. Letting the fire fade as I landed on the ground, I hurled fireballs at her, one after another, not giving her a chance to get up.
I screamed as I used fire to lift her off the ground, the same thing she did to me when she stole my powers, and my eyes glowed with fire as I burned her.
Ruby laughed as if she didn't feel any pain. "That's it, Zoe. Embrace your anger. End me!"
I cried, struggling with the pain of losing Amber and my desire to punish the person who has caused so much suffering to so many people.
But I couldn't bring myself to kill her.
I let the fire fade from my hands, letting Ruby go.
Ruby landed in a crouch, standing. "So close, Zoe. Yeah, you're almost ready."
Ruby used fire to throw me back, making me hit a dumpster and fall to the ground.
I looked up, seeing Ruby was gone and sighed in frustration before my eyes widened in panic. "Barry."
I blazed away to find him.
----->
I walked into Barry's childhood home, hoping to find him.
"Barry?" I called out, worriedly. "Barry?" I headed towards the living room, gasping in horror and put my hand over my mouth, starting to cry. "Oh, my God."
Henry was lying on the floor, dead.
Zoom had killed him the same way the Reverse-Flash had killed Zach.
