Barry and I continued to train to increase our powers to level the playing field against Zoom and Hellfire. Suited up as the Flash and Phoenix, we raced through the streets of Central City until we broke through a barrier of some kind and appeared someplace else.

I saw a girl falling from a skyscraper and instantly blazed closer to catch her, flying away.

Barry followed me in a flash.

I landed in a field outside the city and let the fire fade from my body. The girl's shirt was on fire due to contact with me.

"You're on fire!" Barry said, looking at me. "You set her on fire!"

"I didn't mean to," I said, apologetically. "I am so sorry. Let me just . . ." I reached my hand out to siphon the fire from the girl's shirt. "There you go."

"You don't seem that bothered by the fact that you're on fire," Barry told her.

The girl looked at me. "I didn't need you to save me."

I laughed. "You just fell from a skyscraper. So, if we hadn't been there, you would have gone splat."

"I have to get back to the city," the girl said.

"Okay . . ." I trailed off.

The girl launched herself into the air, flying away. Her clothes fell to the ground, revealing a blue and red suit with a cape underneath.

Barry and I looked up in shock.

"What the . . ." Barry trailed off. "What . . . that's a new one. I thought we were the impossible."

"First, a lady speedster and now another girl who can fly," I said, feeling inferior.

I ignited and flew after the girl in a blaze while Barry sped after us.

The girl looked back at us in confusion and flew towards us. I followed her and we both landed on the ground, facing each other. Barry appeared next to us as I let the fire fade.

"How did you do that?" I asked.

"I'm Supergirl," the girl answered.

"You're who now?" Barry asked.

"Sorry, I was just a little disoriented from the scream," Supergirl told us. She looked at me. "How did you save me?"

"Well, I . . ." I trailed off in confusion. "You fell out a window and I caught you and flew you all the way out here. Which I did not mean to do."

"Yes, I know, but I . . ." Supergirl trailed off, exhaling. "What is with the fire? And who are you?"

Barry smiled. "I'm the Flash."

"And I'm the Phoenix," I told her.

"The who now?" Supergirl asked.

"Wait, do you not know who we are?" I questioned.
