"Ohh babyyy, yesss, god do that again" Nika mocked, fake moaning as Rowan stepped out of Paige's bedroom. "Hey don't make fun of my girlfriend! Besides I have heard way worse from your bedroom" Paige hissed, grabbing a box of pasta from the pantry. "Girlfriend?! Since when, I thought you two hated each other" Nika gasped.
"Ya not anymore, things change" Paige laughed, pouring the pasta onto the boiling water. "Well I'm not complaining, my bestie and my twin, getting along" Nika shrugged. Rowan giggled as she sat down on the counter bar stool, watching Paige cook for her. "Azzi is coming over, make some burgers" Nika demanded, throwing her phone on the counter. "Ima shower real quick" the Croatian walked off.
"So" Paige smiled, "so" Rowan smirked. "Come here" the blonde tilted her head. Rowan groaned but got up from her seat, slowly walking over to the girl, who stood with her arms out wide to the side. Rowan walked into her arms, feeling the tallers tightly wrap around her, suffocating her into a warm hug. "Stop being all shy, you can't scare me away, your mine, remember?" Paige whispered, leaning her head against Rowan's shoulder. "I love you baby" the blonde said before gently kissing the corner of her lips.
Rowan made a sigh noise, when Paige kissed her. And Paige could swear that she lost it every time she did that. It was a sweet nothing, but it felt like some sort of contented reaction, that Paige caused. Which made Paige's heart jump.
Rowan set her hands on the blondes chest, flexing her fingers, inhaling the light scent of Paige's perfume. Every single kiss was perfection, Paige could kiss Rowan for centuries and never get tired of it. "Oh!" Azzis voice filled the kitchen, as she closed the dorm door behind her. Quickly pulling away, Rowan's face turned a deep shade of embarrassment.
"Azzi, you know Rowan, right? She's my girlfriend" Paige introduced, walking over to the pot on the stove and stiring it. "Yes, hi Rowan. I'll let you to be" Azzi smiled and winked, walking to Nikas room. "Come taste" Paige said, holding a fork in the air, that had a dangle of spaghetti on it. She blew on it, the held the fork out to the brunettes mouth, feeding her. "Hmm, a little longer, it's still raw" Rowan said, licking her lips.

After dinner the four girls watched a movie on the couch, Nika and Azzi on one side, talking while Paige and Rowan snuggled up together. "I'm getting used to this" Rowan whispered as she layed on Paige's chest. Their legs were all tangled together under a fluffy blanket, Paige was playing with Rowan's hands, toying around with her rings. "Getting used to what?" Paige asked, "us, I'm getting used to us, being with you makes it so easy, and comfortable" Rowan hoarsed as she traced Paige's scar on her tiger arm that was wrapped around Rowan's waist.
A moment goes by before Paige whisperes "me too" Rowan's stomach filled with butterflies, she could barely even focus on the film when she was laying on Paige, in between her legs, feeling her heart beat. She could feel the blondes fingers playing with her hair.
"Wanna go to my room, now? I'm tired and I have a big surprise for you tomorrow" Paige whispered in her ear, her lips brushing Rowan's ear, making goosebumps appear. She quickly nodded, and hopped off of Paige. "Kay, we're gonna head to bed, night guys" Paige said, scooping up Rowan and carrying her bridal style to the bedroom door. "Okay, don't have to much fun" Azzi winked, "oh Az they already had plenty of fun today, I was a witness" Nika laughed. "What?!" Azzi gasped.
Paige ignored them, walking her and Rowan to her door and closing it shut. She walked over to the bed, throwing no Rowan done on the mattress. "So what's your surprise for me, tomorrow?" Rowan asked, shuffling under the covers. "Well if I told you it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?" Paige smirked, pulling up her hair into a low loose messy bun.
"Scooch, that's my side, baby" Paige said, flicking the lights off and shooing her hand at the girl. Rowan rolled over to the other side of the bed, "your the only one who gets to call me that, you know" Rowan whispered, shivering when she feels Paige's body come into the bed. "Oh just shut up and hold me" Paige laughed. Rowan clung onto the blondes arm, legs tangling together, as they both looked up at the dark ceiling. "Was that your way of subtlety hinting that you want to snuggle?" Rowan giggled, "whatever, you know you want to too" Paige laughed.
A couple minutes goes by, Rowan almost asleep. "Baby? I need to tell you something" Paige whispered, her voice in a serious tone. Rowan sat up to look at her, it was pitch black in the room, but she could still see the light features of her. "What's up bunny?" Rowan said, the nickname slipping out of her mouth, but felt so right. "Bunny?" Paige laughed, thank god it was dark in the room cause she was blushing like a cherry.
"Sorry it just slipped out" Rowan threw her hand through her hair, laying on her side, elbow propped up, facing Paige. "No, no, I like it! Call me that from now on" Paige rolled her body over too, so she could face Rowan. Paige sighed before saying "Ok so I have never told anyone this, and I'm trusting you to keep it that way. I don't want anyone knowing" "what's up bunny? You know you can always talk to me" Rowan said, brushing her hand up and down the blondes arm.
"My parents got divorced when I was three, I stayed with my dad, and don't see my mom often. Now I have always just told people my mom lived in the town over and I spent the weekends with her but truth is my mom didn't stick around, she kinda just abandoned me. So promise me, that you'll never leave me" Paige stuck out her pinky finger. Rowan didn't hesitate to lock her pinky into Paige's, placing a soft kiss on her knuckle, "I promise" Rowan said, before letting Paige spoon her. Paige's sheet against her back, legs wrapped together.
"Do you wanna talk about it, your mom?" Rowan whispered into the dark. "I mean it is just a bummer. Like I would watch everyone else moms cheering for them on the stands at every basketball game and I would always get my hopes up, thinking she would be there. My dad tries, he really does, I mean he's a great dad and I'm so grateful for him, but, one side of me just wishes that she could be here." Paige sighed. "Wow, I'm sorry, I just really needed to get that out, I have never told anyone that before" "Paige, it's okay, it's good to talk, and I'm here to listen. I'm sorry about your mum, that really sucks."
"Thank you, and it's not your fault so don't apologize. You know that feeling that you get when you were little, on Christmas morning. Your ripping open your presents, and it's just pure joy" Paige said, then continued after she felt Rowan's head nod, "that's what my heart feels like when I talk to you, it goes crazy" Paige laughed. "I can't wait for you to meet my family, especially Drew. He's my best friend, he's tough but he'll love you" The blonde whispered, Rowan letting her talk. Just hearing Paige's voice soothed her.
"Shoot! I forgot to tell you. Me and the basketball team have a fall tournament in Virginia, we leave in four days, maybe, well only if you want to, you could come down for the last day? Rowan?" Paige asked, but the girl was already asleep. "sweet dreams lovey" Paige whispered, kissing the girls shoulder then snuggling into her.
