chapter six : my girl ?

After a few hours of sleeping , danny and i woke up at the sound of his phone .
I groaned in annoyance as he reached for it picking up .

"Its dad" he informed me .

"Hello ? " he spoke , voice hoarse from sleeping .

" you're late " i heard him say as i was sharing daniel's pillow , well its mine actually since he's sleeping in my bed .

Danny pulled the phone away checking the time .

" do we really need to do this dad ?
I barelly slept the night . "

" yes we do , get your ass in here and bring that Ethan boy with you.we are missing on one in the team."
Danny groaned and hang up tossing his phone .

Daniel , his father , and some of their family and friends have this thing each sunday morning to have some men time and play baseball .
I never understood these encounters but maybe it is the same as what we call 'girl times' which usually consists on shopping and gossiping .
But honestly i like the idea of playing baseball or any other form of sport acitvity while hanging out with friends , i find it more catchy and interesting than buying new clothes we'll barely get the chance to wear and just talk about stupid stuff about stupid people .

" I don't want to go " he cried out , his face burried in the pillow .

" can i come ? "

" what ? No " he responded shocked as if i made a sin .

" why not ? " i asked .

" Because its boys' time , you won't fit in , and it won't be the same having a girl with us . Besides i'm sure it won't be comfortable for you."

" i don't care really , it's basiclly drinking beers , shooting some balls while talking about hot chicks or socker . "

" actually yeah , that's pretty much it , but it's still a no "

He got off from bed running his hands through his hair .

" come on ! Please , please , please .
I don't feel like staying home i want to hang with you , you practiclly take me everywhere with you .please danny please " i sat up , pouting begging him to take me with him .

He rolled his eyes and sighed .

" Fine ! Go get ready "

Daniel's POV

I swear lina comes up with the weirdest requests sometimes , and i can't do much about it .
Whenever she gives me that look ; sparckling eyes and pouting those lips i just can't say no to her .

Maybe its because i know that i'm basiclly all she's got .
I expected her over time to make new friends and start growing apart from me but that never happened .
I understand that a girl sometimes needs to have a female friend to talk about certain things with , but not Lina .
She can talk to me about absolutely anything without giving it a second thought .
And even though sometimes it bothers me , i can't tell her to shut up andgo away cause i love how comfortable she is around me .
And i can't take that away from her.

" Fine ! Go get ready ! " i gave up .
The boys are going to get my balls for ruining this , im not sure whether they would mind or make a big deal out of it , but they all made it clear with the most important rule about this weekly encounter
