The Slytherin common room was dimly lit, the greenish glow from the lake outside casting eerie shadows across the stone walls. Aria sat in her usual spot, near the fireplace, her arms crossed as she listened to Draco rant for what felt like the hundredth time that day. Onyx sat next to her, flipping through a book but not really paying attention. Blaise and Theo were lounging nearby, both equally caught up in the heated discussion.

"It's a bloody outrage," Draco snarled, pacing back and forth. His platinum hair gleamed in the low light, his expression twisted with disdain. "Potter's always stealing the spotlight. How convenient that his name just happens to pop out of the Goblet. As if Dumbledore isn't coddling him enough already!"

Theo leaned forward, frowning deeply. "It doesn't make any sense. He's not even old enough to compete! How could he have possibly gotten past the age line? No one's buying that innocent act of his."

Aria sighed, her frustration bubbling up. She had been quiet long enough. "He didn't put his name in the Goblet."

Draco stopped pacing and turned to her, a sharp sneer on his face. "Oh, here we go. Defending Potter again. Aria, why are you always on his side?"

"I'm not on his side," she shot back, meeting his glare with a determined look. "I just don't think he would do something that reckless. Do you really think he wants this? Half the school hates him right now, including your lot."

Theo scoffed. "You sound just like Granger, always making excuses for him."

Onyx glanced up from her book, finally chiming in. "It's strange though, isn't it? If Harry did put his name in, he'd be bragging about it by now. He looks more like he's in shock than anything else."

"Exactly," Aria nodded, grateful that Onyx was at least open to considering the possibility. "He's just as confused as everyone else. Maybe someone else put his name in."

Blaise, who had been silent until now, raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Why would anyone do that? Doesn't add up."

Aria leaned forward, her voice firm. "I don't know. But what if someone wanted to put him in danger? The tournament is deadly, and Harry's barely prepared for it."

Draco laughed bitterly. "Right. Potter, in danger. As if he's not Dumbledore's favourite. He'll be fine, Aria. You're wasting your breath."

Aria clenched her fists. "You don't see it because you're too blinded by your hatred for him. This isn't about Harry trying to steal attention, Draco. What if it's something darker? You know what's been happening outside of Hogwarts. You know who's gaining power again."
