In third-year halls, their paths first crossed,
A Raven boy, a Blonde girl lost.
"Stay out of my way," she warned with a glare,
But something lingered in the frosty air.
Crimson with his scar and fame,
Emerald with her secrets untamed.

Two days later, the soft light of dawn filtered into the room, casting a warm glow over Aurora's still form. Her body felt heavy, but there was a strange warmth around her, something familiar and comforting. Slowly, her eyes fluttered open, and the first thing she saw was Harry, slumped over the side of her bed, his head resting near her hand. His face was lined with exhaustion, dark circles under his eyes, but even in sleep, there was a peace to him that touched her heart.
She shifted slightly, wincing at the dull pain in her abdomen, but the movement was enough to wake Harry. His eyes blinked open, and for a moment, he just stared, as though he couldn't believe what he was seeing. Then, in a rush, he sat up, his hands immediately reaching for hers.
"Aurora!" His voice was rough, thick with emotion, and his eyes glistened as he leaned over her, his thumb brushing gently across her knuckles. "You're awake..."
She smiled weakly, her heart aching at the sight of him. "Harry..." Her voice was hoarse, but the love in her gaze was unmistakable. "I thought... I wasn't sure I'd see you again."
Harry's face crumpled, and without another word, he pulled her into his arms, holding her as if he never wanted to let go. She could feel his heart pounding in his chest, the way his breath hitched as he tried to keep his tears at bay.
"I thought I lost you," he whispered, his voice trembling. "I thought—when I saw you lying there—"
"I'm here," she murmured, running her hand gently through his messy hair. "I'm okay."
For a long moment, they just held each other, the weight of everything they had been through pressing in around them. It was as though the world had stopped, leaving only the two of them in that quiet, safe space. Finally, Harry pulled back just enough to look into her eyes, his own shining with tears.
"I love you," he said, his voice raw and filled with all the things he had been holding back for so long. "I can't lose you again, Aurora. I can't."
Her heart swelled at his words, and before she could respond, he leaned down and kissed her. It was a gentle, desperate kiss, filled with the pent-up emotion of months apart, of danger and fear, but most of all, love. She kissed him back with just as much urgency, her hands fisting in the front of his shirt as though she needed to anchor herself to him.
When they finally pulled apart, their foreheads rested together, their breaths mingling. Harry ran his thumb gently across her cheek, wiping away a stray tear. "Are you sure you're okay?"
Aurora nodded, though she winced slightly as she shifted in the bed. "I will be. I've been through worse."
Harry smiled softly, though his eyes still held a shadow of worry. "I don't know how you do it."
