It's been four years since Aemma nearly ran away from the King's Landing on her dragon and that time was more than kind to the young Velaryon princess.
"We are to be married soon," Spoke up Aemma, breaking the silence that occurred around her and her betrothed.
Aegon chuckled as he glanced down at his beautiful betrothed, her head resting on his chest as he twirled a fragment of her silver soft, long curls. It seemed like her hair was growing under his fingers, but his mother always made Aemma to cut them at some point.
The girl of ten and one who had been betrothed to her uncle to unite two fighting parts of one big royal family had grown into a woman of six and ten, not exactly tall, but loud and happy and full of life. A girl who loved riding on her beast of a dragon, having morning sparing with her Sworn protector, woman who loved listening about all kinds of disgusting and slimy bugs. Her personality made Aegon in constant awe of her.
"That we are, my love," Said Aegon casually as Aemma set her book written in the High Valyrian down. Aegon glanced at the cover, not really sure about what that book was, since his High Valyrian was not exactly the bed even with Aemma and her constant pushing him into it to practice.
"Oh, don't sound too excited about it, my love," Huffed Aemma, burying her face into his chest as he laughed at her reaction.
Aegon wrapped her arms around her slim body, making the white haired princess to look up at him, the Targaryen Prince quickly leaned down and captured Aemma's lips in a searing kiss with all the passion he had in his soul for his future wife and the Queen. One hand on her jaw to keep her in position a little longer. Before he released her slightly swollen lips.
"What do you think now, darling? I am excited?" Aegon asked her, resting his forehead against Aemma's.
"A little," Mumbled out Aemma, slightly out of breath, "Maybe I need a bit more convincing," She added in.
He grinned at her and the two of them were about to resume their activity from the comfort of Aemma's bed when the doors into her chambers burst wide open. Helaena stood in the doorframe, not even looking at the bed as she placed up and down around Aemma's chamber.
Aegon groaned at his sister's presence, leaning against the wooden head board as he rubbed his eyes with his hands. It seemed the two of them could never truly have peace in this lifetime.
"They have decided on a date for Aemond and I's wedding," Suddenly spoke up Helaena as she continued in her pacing, surely burning a hole into Aemma's dark blue carpet as she did so.
