The people we were never existed
It's like part of my life was a fever dream
Because I let her go again
The person I cherished, yet couldn't properly
The person I wanted to protect, yet crushed by myself
My heart feels pain, but head says it's what I deserve
I let her go again
Possessiveness is what I've known, however not a way for lovers
Easier to harm without converting your feelings into words
I still live in denial, to protect my pride
I say I don't need her, but I know better
Because I let her go again and it's stupid to look back
