the sun dipped below the horizon as sophie stood in front of the full-length mirror, her reflection staring back at her. tonight was halloween, and she was going all in. a small grin tugged at the corner of her lips as she examined the outfit. she was dressed as rapunzel, but with a twist-gone was the long, flowy gown from the movie, replaced with a purple corset that cinched perfectly at her waist and a short, flared skirt that hit just above her knees.
"i still can't believe you're wearing this," jenna ray davis teased from her spot on sophie's bed. she was aleady dressed in her own costume-a fairy with iridescent wings and a sparkly, lavender dress. "you usually hate dressing up."
