gjoe was sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone when his screen lit up with a call from tee.

"bro, you’re coming out tonight. no excuses."

before he could reply, another voice in the background popped jn, this time from ja’marr.

"you’re coming. tee and i already decided."

joe sighed, running a hand through his hair. sophie, who was curled up at the other end of the couch, noticed his expression and tilted her head.

"i'll ask sophie," he replied to them before immediately hanging up before they could comment how whipped he was.

"ask me what?" she asked, pulling her legs under her.

"tee and ja’marr want me to go out with them tonight," joe said, holding up his phone for her to see.

sophie raised an eyebrow, a small smirk tugging at her lips. "and you’re debating it why? go out, have fun with your friends."

"i don’t want to leave you," he admitted, his voice soft as he set his phone down.

she laughed, crawling over to sit closer to him. "joe, you see me every single day. i think you can survive a few hours without me."

"you sure?" he asked, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her closer.

"yes, but," she teased, poking his chest, "you better not cheat on me."
