A few days had passed since we settled into the new house. Life had been peaceful so far—no monsters, no threats—just the usual training with Arkane, while Silver spent his time learning more about this world. The wind brushed against my skin as I prepared to withstand another of Arkane's strikes, but Silver interrupted us."Guys! I think I've figured out how we can finally fit in around here," he said, a hint of excitement in his voice.Arkane and I exchanged confused looks, but we paused to hear him out."We know so little about this place," Silver continued. "The books I've found gave us some information, but they don't tell us much about the culture or how magic works in everyday life. Outside of the mana core stages and the skills the system gives us, we're in the dark. Magic is rare among the common folk here, and what little knowledge there is in the libraries barely scratches the surface." he says finally before we nod and we agree to visit this school.

As we approached the gates of Cyrus, I had to admit, it was impressive. The place was massive. Tall, silver gates covered in glowing runes seemed to welcome us as we walked through. Beyond them, the school rose up like something out of a fantasy tale—spires reaching high into the sky, surrounded by a shimmering barrier of magic. The air felt charged with energy, making the hair on the back of my neck stand on end.Silver, walking beside me, let out a low whistle. "Is it just me, or does this feel like we've wandered into a magic anime?"I couldn't help but chuckle. "Yeah, all that's missing are some dramatic rival battles and a mysterious villain lurking in the shadows."Arkane, ever the pragmatist, smirked. "Let's hope they don't make us fight a dragon on the first day."We laughed, the tension easing a little. We'd faced monsters and dungeons before, but walking into a magic school? That felt like uncharted territory. It was strange. We were adventurers, used to living by our skills and instincts, not sitting in classrooms. But if we wanted to understand this world's magic and culture, this was where we needed to be.As we walked deeper into the school grounds, I took a moment to take it all in. The courtyard was beautiful. Everywhere I looked, there were vibrant, magical plants with petals that seemed to change color with the wind. Fountains dotted the area, their water shimmering faintly with magical energy. Students milled about—some practicing spells in open spaces, others deep in conversation or studying from thick spellbooks. The whole place felt alive, buzzing with magic. The main building loomed ahead, more impressive than I had imagined. The stone walls were pristine, with stained glass windows depicting legendary figures and ancient magic. It felt like stepping into a piece of history.Once inside, we were greeted by a tall man with sharp features and kind eyes—Mr. Vaughn, the principal of Cyrus. He stood with an air of authority but smiled warmly, putting us at ease."Welcome to Cyrus," he said, his voice calm and rich. "It's an honor to have adventurers like you here. Your reputation precedes you."I glanced at Arkane and Silver, both of them looking as surprised as I felt. How did word about us travel so fast?

"The Adventurer's Guild speaks highly of you," Mr. Vaughn continued, as if reading our minds. "We at Cyrus value such unique talents. You're already part of this world in ways many of our students aren't. As such, we're more than happy to accept you into our school."Silver raised an eyebrow, grinning slightly. "So that's it? No entrance exams? No tests?"Mr. Vaughn chuckled softly. "You've already passed far greater tests out in the field. Besides, adventurers like yourselves have much to teach us as well. The school will give you knowledge, and in return, we hope to learn from your experiences."I nodded, feeling a little more at ease. "We're glad to be here."Mr. Vaughn explained that while we wouldn't be living in the school dorms—we'd be staying at our house—Cyrus would still be a significant part of our lives. We'd be placed in classes based on our magical affinity, and though we were adventurers, we'd still have to keep up with the coursework. After the formalities, a senior student gave us a tour of the campus. And as we explored, I realized just how enormous Cyrus was. It wasn't just a school—it was a world of its own. There were buildings dedicated to different branches of magic: alchemy, elemental magic, rune crafting, and so much more. Every classroom was packed with magical tools and artifacts that seemed ancient but also futuristic. The highlight, though, was the library. It stood in the center of the campus like a fortress of knowledge. Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves lined every wall, filled with countless tomes on every magical subject you could think of. Silver looked like a kid in a candy store the second we walked in.
