Blaze looked something like this, minus the red color.. Just imagine Blaze how i described him only with this face.
I jumped up, running blindly to the living room. I could hear footsteps running in behind me. I didn't want to stop running, but i knew i had to find a light and turn it on. As i slowed down, I stretched my hands outward, feeling for the wall. I jumped when my hands connected to the rough surface.
I hoped to find a light switch soon because i was starting to literally freaking out. I didn't have any clue as to what made those candles blow out nor did I know what it was that touched me. Panic began to set in as i couldn't find a switch. I could hear shuffling coming from the kitchen area. I knew it must be Rayn, Will, and Blaze.
I blew out a sigh of relief when my hand came across the light switch. Just as i was about to flip it on, a body crashed into my skinny frame, knocking me to the floor. The back of my head smack a light smack as it hit the floor. It began to spin as I shoved the person or thing off of me. I sat up and pushed my back to the wall.
"W-wh-who's there?" i stuttered, fearing who or what may answer back.
"Sorry. It's just me." Rayn answered.
"What happened?" I asked rubbing the back of my head.
"Well, when you panicked and took off running, i kind of did, too. I called myself following behind you, but I think i got turned around and then, crashed into you by accident. Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I just hit my head on the floor." i groaned as i proceeded to get up.
"Sorry. Sorry. We need to find a light switch so we can take a look at your head." i could hear her shuffling to get up.
"Right here." i stood up and drug my hand once more across the wall and shortly found the switch, and flipped it on.
I shielded my eyes from the bright light until they adjusted. Rayn and I turned our heads towards the kitchen, only to find Blaze still sitting in the same spot and position that he was in before. There was very little light shining from the living room into the kitchen, so it was hard to see. However I didn't see Will anywhere, but i could see all of the candles were scattered out across the kitchen floor. The board and planchette remained in front of Blaze. He stared down at it, blankly.
I could sense that something was wrong. I could feel that something was terribly off. The atmosphere was tense and heavy. It made they hairs on my arm stand on end. Rayn felt it, too. She scurried close to my side and looped her arm into mine as we tip toed towards Blaze.
"H-h-h-hey, Blaze, are you okay?" my voice cracked as i took another step.
He remained still. I could tell that he was breathing. The closer I got to him, the more i sensed that something was among us, like whatever it was had attached itself to Blaze. I came to an abrupt halt when he started rocking back and forth, slowly, humming the tune that you hear on the Freddy Kruger movies: "Nightmare On Elm Street". The one that the little girls in whitr dress are singing while jump roping. You know the song. Extremely creepy, right?
My heart skipped a beat. Oh, Lord, what have we gotten ourselves in to? I could tell it wasn't good. It was as bad as I thought it would be. Nothing good was to come from this. I remained frozen. I couldn't urge myself to move forwards nor backwards. It was like something was holding me in place, but I knew that it was because i was to scared to move.
"B-b-b-b-Blaze?" Rayn squeaked.
My eyes grew wide as he turned his head towards us, still rocking. He had an evil grin plastered upon his face. Oh, this isn't good. I took a step back as he opened his mouth.
"One, two, it's coming for you
Three, four, no need to lock your door.
Five, six, grab your crucifix.
Seven, eight, going to stay awake.
Nine, ten, its goingto feed again."As soon as he spoke those last words, i could hear a tumbling down the stairs. It sounded huge and i wasn't going to stick around to find iut what it is. I let out an ear piercing scream as i spun around and ran for the door. I could feel Rayn's fist that was knotted in my shirt at the back. She was holding on to me for dear life.
"Wee, wee, wee!" she screamed, doing a high step run behind me.
I wanted to laugh, i really did, but as scared as I was, i would laugh later. My heart pounded as I ran full speed for the door. Out of no where, it flew open, just before i got to it. I skidded to a halt, Rayn crashing into me, causing me to stumbled forwards.
"Why'd you stop?" she screamed in my ear.
I couldnt responde. There was nothing there that could have caused the door to fly open like that. It was weird. It just flew open as if a strong gust of wind had blown it open. I could hear footsteps coming from the kitchen along with Blaze's evil demonic laughter. Something made the door fly open, it wouldn't just do that on its own. Everything in me was telling me to run like bananas would from a monkey if they had legs, but i stood there. We were trapped in between whatever it was that caused the door to burst open, which we couldn't see, and whatever it was that was in the kitchen with Blaze coming towards us.
We were in gigantic trouble..
Horrifying right? Tell me how you would feel if something like this happened to you guys... Feel free to vote and comment.. Thanks to the ones who have read my story up to this chapter. Enjoy....
