Ouija Demon

chapter 20

My eyes bucked out of my head as I spun around, running through Rayn, Will, and Blaze. Will got slammed against the wall and Blaze stumbled backwards and fell on his rump. Rayn stumbled, but never fell. She screamed as she slammed the door shut and locked it.

Whatever it was that caused the phone to keep ringing, I didn't know, but if it wanted to get in, it wouldn't be worried about a door being locked. It would come through the door or window if it wanted.

"What the hell was that?" Rayn shrieked.

"That damn thing rung after you broke it to pieces! How is that possible?" Blaze asked, looking around the room in disbelief.

"Malfunction." Will responded.

"No! Don't give me that ish. That was no malfunction! It was something worse and you know it!" I yelled, looking into Will's eyes.

"That's what it was. One of the wires were touching another causing it to short out and ring like that." he crossed his arms over his chest.

"A month old telephone thats basically brand new?" i asked getting aggravated.

"Yes, it can happen."

I growled and stormed over to him, getting in his face. "Tell me you don't really believe that crap! You know it wasn't a malfunction! And let's just it was, how do you explain the growling, breathing, and evil laughter on the other end? You know what? Don't even answer that! I don't want to hear what kind of excuse you come up with. You know deep down that it wasn't what you say it was. We've stirred something up when we fooled around with that damn board!"

"If that's what you want." Will moved away from me.

"Guy, I know what it is!" Blaze exclaimed, throwing his hand up in the air.

"What might that be, genius?" Rayn asked.

"It's those damned dolls! I swear, it has to be! They're cursed and out to get us!" he shouted, running his hands down his face.

Rayn chuckled as I shook my head. "My dolls have nothing to do with whats going on." i sat down and placed my head into the palms of my hands.

"There's only one thing left to do." Rayn whispered.

"What are you talking about?" Blaze cut his eyes at her.

"Go back to the house and play the board to find out who or what this is." she answered.

My head shot out of my heads and I stood up. "Have you lost your mind? You can't be serious," I was outraged. "There's no way I'm putting my hands back on that thing, ever again! No!" I shouted.

"She may have a point, Nessa. We could just play to find out who or what it is and appologize to who or whatever we disturbed." Blaze shrugged.

"Pppssshhh, you think saying sorry to what ever this is and everything thing is going to be mashed potatoes and gravy?" I rolled my eyes.

"Um.... Yeah." he answered.

I slapped the palm of my hand against my forehead. "Whatever we woke up isn't going to take a sorry. You didn't hear what I heard on the other end of the phone."

"How do you know it wasn't just someone prank calling you?" Will spoke after a while of silence.

"Um.. You witnessed the damn thing ring after what I did to it right? And plus, this thing didn't sound like a kid play pranks. It sounded pure evil. Probably woke a damn demon from its slubber." I growled as I slammed my fists into a nearby wall.

"At least we can try to find out what it wants." Rayn suggested.

"If that's what it really is, then, we're already facing some problems." I shook my head snd walked towards by bedroom.

"What's that?" Blaze asked.

"It's not just going to give us it's name---." I was cut off by Will as he finished my sentence.

"And demons want nothing, but one thing. A soul."

Hey guys it would nice to let me know how I'm doing so far.. I know the chapters are short. As I've said before, I'm typing this up from my phone and it puts and major strain on my eyes and neck. But I will try to make some of the chapters a little longer. Thanks.
