After an hour of waiting, Eros received the results. As he looked at it, his hands trembled, and tears fell from his eyes. "I want you to give Liying fake results that show not match," Yibo instructed before heading for the door. "I'll transfer the money to your account, and you know what will happen if anyone finds out about this," he added before leaving. Upon learning the truth, Eros went straight to the house he had built and isolated himself for several days.

While in the bedroom they shared, he found a letter he believed to be handwritten by Zhan. As he read it, he felt like he was reliving a moment from the past, back when something happened between him and Ebisu just before Ebisu’s birthday.

End of Flashback

Eros took a deep breath. "Liying doesn’t know because I switched the results," Eros admitted. "I don’t even know what to say, but by doing that, you saved me. We also put something in Liying’s phone, allowing us to see everything on it, but that only happened after the auction, when Jiyang and Haoxuan got the chance to befriend her," Gu Wei explained, not realizing that Eros thought Haoxuan and Jiyang were friends of Liying.

"I suspected as much," Eros said, which puzzled Gu Wei. When Eros saw the confusion on Gu Wei’s face, he continued. "Jackson knew about your revenge, and I had him conduct two DNA tests with A-Yuan, both of which came back negative, even though I already knew the truth—that you are Zhan. And from what you said about having something put on Liying’s phone, you did the same to me, didn’t you?" Eros asked, and Gu Wei nodded in response.

"No wonder I felt something was wrong, like everything I did was being watched. After the second DNA test came back negative, I started using a different phone whenever I talked to Jili or Mianmian about my secrets." Gu Wei raised an eyebrow in surprise.

"I thought I was smart, but it turns out you’re even smarter than me. That’s why we had no idea about those two," Gu Wei said, pointing at Jili and Mianmian. "And we didn’t know anything about your condition either."

"There’s more," Eros added, unable to suppress a smile at Gu Wei's reaction. "It’s about Haoxuan and Jiyang," he said, and Gu Wei's eyes widened in shock.

“I’ll admit, at first, I didn’t recognize them. But when I noticed the scar on Haoxuan’s right hand, that’s when I realized you were trying to find out something. By then, it was too late to pretend, so I just enjoyed the moments. I also realized that they didn’t befriend Liying just because they wanted to, but because they wanted to get close to her to gather information for you,” Eros said, while Gu Wei was left speechless.

Meanwhile, back at Yibo’s parents’ house, they heard the doorbell ring again. The helper hurried to open the door and was greeted by two men. "Who are they?" the helper asked.

"We’re with Lay," Jiyang answered, and the helper immediately let them in. The elders people in the room were surprised to see the unfamiliar faces, but A-Yuan quickly ran toward the two men.

"I want to go to Nana and Dad. Can you take me to them?" A-Yuan asked, and Haoxuan and Jiyang both felt a pang in their hearts upon seeing A-Yuan’s miserable expression and swollen eyes.

Jiyang hugged A-Yuan, while Haoxuan introduced himself to Zhan’s parents, Yibo, his brother, and Cheng. "If you’ll allow us, we’ll take A-Yuan to Yibo," he said, which confused the elders.

"Yibo already knows that Gu Wei and Lay aren’t really engaged," he added, which made the elders frown in confusion.

"May I use your TV?" Haoxuan asked, and Katrina nodded without hesitation, leading everyone to the TV room.

Since Jili arrived, Haoxuan and Jiyang had established a connection with Gu Wei, allowing them to hear everything that was being discussed in the room. It turned out that Eros had sent another voice recording to Jili, instructing him to go to Room 508 to retrieve both Yibo and Gu Wei’s belongings. In his haste, Jili rushed straight to the room where Yibo and Gu Wei had been, carrying Yibo's things.

As they listened to Gu Wei and Eros’ conversation, they couldn’t help but cry. "My child will live," Katrina whispered, hugging Diego, who had been silent all this time.

"We’re not the only ones going to them—everyone is," Katrina said. "And don’t worry about the plane. We’ll use our private jet," she added.

Elsewhere. "Now that everything is clear, you need to have the surgery," Gu Wei said, and Mianmian let out a sigh of relief, thinking Gu Wei might have forgotten about it. Eros glanced at the three others, even though he couldn't see their faces, and then turned his gaze back to Gu Wei. He tightened his grip on Gu Wei’s hand.

"W-what if I don’t remember any of you after the surgery again?" Eros asked, his voice trembling with sadness. Gu Wei smiled at him through his tears.

"No matter what happens after the surgery, we’ll be with you. Our child and I will help you remember us. And if that doesn’t work, we can always create new happy memories together," Gu Wei said, struggling to breathe between sobs. "This time, you won’t have to be alone or hide anymore. We’ll all help you," he added, and Eros couldn’t stop the tears from falling, thinking his story was about to end.

"But what about them? I want them to pay for what they did to you," Eros said angrily.

"I’ll take care of them. What matters now is that you live a long life and stay with us. Or if you prefer, you can get better first, and then we’ll face them together," Gu Wei replied as he wiped Yibo’s tears. The three who were listening couldn’t hold back their tears either, especially those listening 7the conversation unfold on the screen.
