The underground location where they took Liying wasn't far, so Eros arrived quickly. However, he was alone since Jili had gone to the hotel where the man was. As soon as Yibo got out of the car, he was greeted by familiar people, identified by the name tags on their uniforms.

"Where is she?" Yibo asked, expressionless.

"She's inside, sir. We've prepared everything you instructed, and here's the mask you requested," one of the bodyguards said. Eros didn't really want to wear the mask, but Jili had told him that Liying still didn't know that Gu Wei and Zhan were the same person, and he might still be plotting revenge.

After putting on the mask, Eros walked toward Lying, who was crying and begging to be released. But to Eros, her voice was nothing more than background noise. Zhan's voice, as he recounted the story, kept replaying in his mind.

"What do you want from me?" Liying sobbed, but she fell silent when she saw the masked man.

"Your life," the masked man replied coldly. He then grabbed the whip  and struck Liying on the back as she remained tied upside down. Liying screamed in pain as tears streamed down her face.

But Eros didn’t feel any pity from what he heard. He kept lashing Liying’s back until it bled. Still unsatisfied, Yibo grabbed a heated metal rod. When Liying saw what the masked man was holding, it felt as if her soul had left her body out of sheer terror. Her entire body trembled.

“No, no, no, please! I’m pregnant!” she pleaded.

But as Eros remembered how Ebisu had once pointed scissors at himself, his vision went dark. He pressed the hot metal rod against Liying’s back.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" Liying screamed in agony.

Eros then picked up a larger rod and pressed it against Lying's arm. This time, she coughed up blood, and since she was still tied upside down, the blood flowed toward her head.

Eros grabbed the whip again, ready to strike Lying once more, but Jili stopped him.

“She can’t die this easily. There’s still someone in the other room,” Jili said. When he saw Lying’s condition more clearly, his eyes widened, and he silently prayed that nothing would happen to the child she was carrying. That was his only concern.

“You take care of her. She can’t die,” Jili told the bodyguards before dragging Yibo toward the other room.

When they entered the room, the man seated in the electric chair was unconscious, stripped of his clothes.

“Are you sure this is the guy we spoke to at the banquet?” Eros asked, wanting to be certain. Jili took a picture from his pocket, but even when Eros held it, he still couldn't make out the man’s face. So, he decided to trust Jili’s word.

Eros ordered one of his bodyguards to fetch the heated metal rod.

“Aren’t you going to wake him up first?” Jili asked.

Yibo smirked. “I’ll wake him up with that,” he replied. A minute later, the bodyguard returned with the hot rod in hand. Without hesitation, Eros pressed it against the unconscious man’s abdomen. The man jolted awake, trying to stand, but couldn’t move due to the restraints binding his hands. Eros repeated the act, b@rning the other side of the man’s abdomen. The man screamed in pain.

“Who are you? What do you want from me?” he shouted angrily. But instead of answering, Eros stepped behind him and pressed the rod against his back.

The sight of the large scars on Gu Wei’s back flashed vividly in Yibo’s mind. He grabbed the man by the jaw.

“Were you and Liying the ones who kidnapped Ebisu before?” Yibo asked, startling the man.

“What are you talking about? Are you insane?” the man angrily responded.

“Am I insane?” Mul asked, spitting in the man’s face. “Now you’re going to pretend you don’t know anything,” Mul said, and without warning, he pressed the button on the remote, sending a surge of electricity through the man’s body in the chair.

“Ahhhhh!” the man screamed. When Jili saw that the man’s nose had started bleeding, he snatched the remote from Eros. “He’ll die too quickly if you torture him that fast,” Jili said, gripping the man’s hair. “Aren’t you going to talk?” he asked.

“How can I speak when I don’t know what you’re talking about?” the man stammered, still feeling as if his head and brain were splitting apart. Yibo pressed the heated rod against him again, making the man scream in agony.

“I have something else here,” Jili said, pulling out a bottle of alcohol. He poured it onto the man’s open wounds, causing him to cry out in pain.

“I only know Liying! I’ve only heard the name Zhan because he’s her brother!” the man said, trembling as his chin quivered.

Eros was about to press the remote again but stopped when his phone rang. Seeing that Mianmian was calling, he quickly answered.

“Come back here. He’s awake,” Mianmian said. Eros handed the remote to Jili.

“You handle this. Just don’t k@ll him,” Yibo said, rushing toward the parking lot where his car was parked.

“How is he?” Eros asked as he drove.

“He’s trying to get up and crying, so we tied his hands,” Mianmian replied, surprising Yibo.

Elsewhere, Gu Wei noticed that the face of the person in the room wasn’t familiar. He immediately tried to sit up, but before he could rise, Youn held him down.

“I’m not going to run,” Gu Wei said, crying.

Youn had nearly finished off Yibo’s perfume, and over time, they began to notice how calm Gu Wei had become. “It’s really strange. Imagine, he was so furious with Yibo, but something related to Yibo is the one calming him down,” Youn remarked, watching the man whose eyes were slowly closing.

Not long after, Yibo arrived, and by the time he did, Gu Wei was already asleep. “How is he?” he immediately asked, sitting beside the sleeping Gu Wei. “He’s okay now. Your perfume really has a strong effect on him,” Mianmian said, standing up. Yibo gently untied Zhan’s hands, and his heart ached as he noticed the redness on Zhan’s wrists.

“Where’s Jili?” Youn asked when he noticed Jili wasn’t with Yibo. “I left him there,” Yibo replied.

...

A few hours later, they heard the doorbell ring, and Mianmian quickly volunteered to check. When she opened the door, she was shocked to see a large group of people outside. “Come in,” she said, holding the door wide open to let Eros’ parents, Ebisu, Lay, Jackson, Haikuan’s family, Jiyang, Haoxuan, and A-yuan in.

“Where’s my Dad room?” A-yuan asked immediately.

“When you get to the second floor, it’s the second door,” Mianmian replied, and A-yuan quickly ran up the stairs.
