A Safe Haven

I woke up because of the sun reflecting in the mirror.

I was about to stretch when I felt someone hugging my waist and he was behind me because his breath was hitting my neck.

I just noticed that I'm not in my room, it's not my room. My eyes were still shocked and couldn't move because I looked at the blanket covering us.

The man's hand was hugging me and the worst thing was that I was naked.

What stupid thing have you done again, Leila?

I turned around to face the man who was still asleep.

No!

Umatras ako habang sumisigaw at dahil sa katangahan ay nahulog ako sa kama. Mabilis kong kinuha ang maikling dress na suot ko kahapon and my underwear at sinuot agad yon. Mabuti nalang dahil easy to wear itong dress ko.

Pagtayo ko ay masakit ang pwetan ko dahil nga nahulog ako sa kama.

He's awake.

"W-what did you do to me?!" napasabunot ako sa buhok ko na parang baliw dahil alam ko ang nangyari last night. "You took my virginity." naiiyak kong sambit.

"What are you saying, you, what did you do to me?"

"Fuck! Where's my phone?!" I looked for my phone inside the room and found it on the floor. When I took it, it was broken and I couldn't open it.

What did I do???

Hinarap ko sya na nagbibihis palang habang ang sarili ko naman ay magulo ang buhok.

May naalala ako last night, I almost fell and he caught me then I fell asleep when I heard other boys laughing and picked me up.

Yon lang ang mga naaalala ko.

I slowly remember what happened last night.

I slowly sat up on the bed because I couldn't move properly. Mukhang hindi pa ako makakauwi nito.

"Borrow my phone, you threw your phone away last night." he handed me his phone and I opened my social media. "Last night I was also not in my right mind. I don't know what I do when I'm drunk." he said with a soft voice.

"Don't remind me of that if you don't want your phone to get damaged." nanggigigil kong panakot sa kanya.

"Break it if you want." kalmado at walang takot nyang sagot. "Sorry for what happened last night."

He wipes his glasses then puts them on. He was wearing a black t-shirt and sweat pants.

He acts like nothing happened, but that's better because I don't want to remember it either.

What if may mabuo? No... hindi pwede. Isang beses lang naman itong nangyari. Wag kang tanga, Leila.

Nag-ring ang phone nya at nakita ko ang name ni Nanay Bella na tumatawag. Nanginginig ang mga daliri kong pinindot yon para sagutin.

"Nanay Bella?—"

"L-Leila, n-nasaan ka naman nagpunta? Kanina pa ako t-tumatawag pero hindi mo sinasagot. N-napano ka ba? Nag-alala ako sayo." I noticed  Nanay Bella's shaking voice and crying.

"Im fine po, don't worry about me, Nanay Bella. I'm sorry if I didn't answer your calls, I'm going home na po." ngumiti ako kahit hindi nya nakikita.

"Nasaan ka? Sasabay ako kay John para sunduin ka, ha."

"Opo." tumingin ako sa lalaki at tinanong sya. "Where am I?" I asked him.
