crashing-
that's how my world is right now
everything falling apart,
just as it was falling into place.
i saw the light, the joy, the hope;
but now i am surrounded by the darkest, and coldest midnight.
but don't let them see,
you can't let them down.
put a mask on,
turn your frown upside down,
and put back on your god damn crown.
so i fake a smile and help everyone around.
but who is doing that for me?
alone.
surrounded by people all the time,
but no one really knows the depths of my mind.
how i would love to reach for the knife, one more time.
i could hide it, so no one would know.
that my world is crashing, and tumbling.
but that's not a choice that i have,
so i'll keep my feelings on the down low.
